"Hello Ashley. I'm Taylor, call me Tay!" Taylor said, like I didn't know who he was.
"I'm Zac."
"I'm Ike."
"She knows guys. She's a fan." Diane said, smiling. I blushed.
"Not to be rude, but why's she here?" Zac asked.
"She's a friend's daughter who'll be staying with us for awhile." Diane replied, looking at me with a smile. I smiled back.
"Fan huh? Cool." Tay said, smiling. What a smile that boy had. He was wearing cut-off jeans, a white t-shirt with a stain on it, and his hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail.
"Ok. You boys are gunna take Ashley shopping for stuff for her room." Diane said, handing me some money behind her back. I took it and shoved it in her pocket.
"Tay, why don't you take her? Cuz me and Zac have to finish the music on this song, and you're all set." Ike said. I almost fainted.
"Cool!" Tay said, and he took my hand. As his hand slipped in mine and grasped it, I felt a rush of heat through my body. I lightly took hold of his back, and we headed outside.
"Shit... can you hold on?" Tay said. I nodded, and he let go of my hand. Sadness rushed through my body as he ran inside. After about five minutes he came out looking way different. He was wearing baggy jeans at least five sizes too big, a shirt that said "koRn" on it, a bucket hat, and sunglasses. He was soo hot!
"Wow.. you look.." I started.
"Different?" he finished. He smiled. "I do this so no one notices me. So what do you need to get?"
"Well, paint, um... hold on." I checked how much money I had. One hundred-fifty. "And.. Christmas lights, a lava lamp... I think thats it.. oh.. a blankt."
"To the mall we go..." Tay said, grabbing my hand and walking down the street. He almost had to pull me, because I was frozen.
"Ashley right?" Tay asked, stopping.
"Yup..."
"You're beautiful."
