Darren Stanley Hayes
* He was born on the 8th of May 1972 in Brisbane, Australia
* He’s got black hair (his natural hair is middle brown) and gray eyes
* Is the youngest of three children
* He has a pierced ear
* He doesn’t drink and used to be a vegetarian but eats white meat now
* He started singing at 11
* His fave foods are skim milk and yogurt
* When he grew up he listened to a lot of Motown (good for you because it is my home state's best import besides cars!!!), now he’s really into U2
* He was studying to become a teacher when he dropped it to become a musician, good move! But how cool to have him as your teacher, I could learn to like school if that was the case.
* His fave school subject was biology
* He likes open space (one of the things he likes about Oz-land), so do I!!!
* There are two things he doesn’t like about Australia: the fact that people want to be like Brits and Americans so much and the fact that there is a racist politician in Australia and some people like her
* He used to have 2 baby kangaroos as pets, WOW! cool!
* He was what you would call a nerd at school and according to himself he was good at school and got everybody shocked when he decided to quit the university to start a ‘popstar’ life
* "I didn’t fit in at all and I didn’t want to. My classmates had no intelligence - they’d smoke and get drunk, and get pregnant and I had no interest in that. Then all the morons left and I got into music lessons and drama"
* He is mad about "Star Wars" and has lots of Star Wars toys

* His nickname is "doze" coz he was such a fat baby that people thought he looked like a bulldozer
* His fave author is Anne Rice who’s written "Interview with a vampire"
* That’s where they got the name Savage Garden, it’s from one of her novels. She talks about the world as a savage garden, externally beautiful but internally savage
* He believes in fate and destiny and stuff
* His fave Savage Garden songs are "Carry on dancing" and "Santa Monica", he thinks Carry on dancing kinda represents their sound
* He thinks his job is better than sex, chocolate and his own life (?). In other words, he LOVES his job
* Darren has a habit of throwing showbiz tantrums...haha
- Because of his black PVC pants.. (need I say more??) .you’ve missed a great deal if you haven’t seen that
- His clothes, this man has a dress sense
- The way he moves his hands and arms when he’s singing
- His smile which he doesn’t expose too often, at least not in promotional photos
- He’s got such an amazing and beautiful voice (everybody I know agrees)

DANIEL JONES
* He was born on the 22nd of July, 1973 in Essex, England (he is is about 4 months younger than me!)
* He is the youngest of three brothers
* Daniel has both ears pierced
* His brothers started playing music and he just followed in their footsteps
* He can play the drums, keyboard/piano, guitar, bass guitar and he’s good with electronic stuff like computers
* He is apparently engaged to a woman called Michelle (I’m very unsure about this fact)
* His nickname was waggin’ (= a ‘bad’ boy)
* He’s got dark blond hair and blue eyes
* He is obsessed with actress Meg Ryan whom he met when they performed on the Rosie O'Donnell show. The song "All Around Me" is about her
* His fave Savage Garden songs are "To The Moon And Back" and "Truly madly deeply"
* When he was younger he listened to punk music and 80s pop, he’s a ‘songperson’ which means he likes songs as opposed to Darren who likes acts
* His fave food is chocolate!
* He doesn’t like ‘bevans’ in Oz-land, people who drive around in cars and listen to Metallica really loudly
* He used to have a kookaburra as a pet (large Aussie bird with a cackling cry apparently)
* He and his family moved to Australia when he was merely one year old
* Daniel wanted to become either a footballer/soccerplayer or a lollipop man (People who help schoolkids across the street)
* He has climbed Ayers Rock (that’s a big deal in Australia, people have died climbing it)
* He gets embarrassed when elevator doors close on him.
