Canibus disses LL again - May 09

Canibus takes another jab at LL Cool J in a new diss record.

The song is called "I'm Bad (You Dead)" and is a remake of LL's classic song of the same name off the 1987 album "Bigger and Deffer (BAD)." On this record, Canibus disses LL, Russell Simmons, Simone (LL's wife) and Wyclef. To listen to the record and view the lyrics, click on the following links. Please note that to play the song, your system requires RealPlayer Audio.

I'm Bad (You Dead)
Lyrics

The beef between LL and Canibus started on the LL song "4,3,2,1" featuring Canibus, DMX, Method Man, Redman and Master P. from the 1997 "Phenomenon" album. This war was fuelled by Canibus throwing irreverent comments about the tattoed mic on LL's arm.
I'm the illest nigga alive watch me prove it
I snatch a crown with your head still attatched to it
Canibus is the type who'll fight for mics
beatin' niggas to death and beatin' dead niggas to life
when you look at me long enough I start to read your thoughts
if the signal is strong enough and then I'll call your bluff
like yo how many rhymes you got

LL respond with a blistering verse putting the young upstart in his place.
my young son's fantasize of borrowing flows
tell little shorty with the big mouth the bank is closed
this symbol on my arm is off limit to challengers
you hold and bust the swords I swing the excaliber
how dare you step up in my dimension
your little ass should be somewhere cryin' on detention
watch your mouth better yet hold your tongue
I'm a do this shit for free this time this one's for fun
blow you to pieces leave you covered in faeces
with one thesis...
in the history of rap they've never seen such prominence
your nieve confidence gets crushed by my dominence
now let's get back to this mic on my arm
if it ever left my side it'd transform into a time bomb
you don't wanna bar that you wanna idolize
and you don't wanna make me mad nigga you wanna socalize
Canibus then turn the tables with the lyrical "Second Round Knockout" featuring Mike Tyson off his ill-fated, Wyclef produced, debut album.
Watch me rip the mic from his arm
Kick him in the groin
Stick you for your Vanguard Award
In front of your mom
Your first, second and third born
Watch the white kid on your arm
Called Minister Farahkan

After being cornered like a dog, LL reply with the destructive "The Ripper Strikes Back," seizing the momentum and the battle.
Get on your knees, bow down to my degrees
Young slacker, save that demo for Jack the Rapper
You gargoyle, slash olive oil, pussycat
I wrapped up in aluminum foil, ready to boil
I'ma tear the skin off ya ass with ten knuckles
Rhymes was weak, they made me chuckle like a name buckle...
I feed you a poisonous verse so don't try it
No more rhymin, you on a lyric fast diet
Call the paramedic and tell them that he pathetic
His lyrics ain't energetic you're sweet as a diabetic
Career be over next year, yeah I said it

In addition, LL strikes another devastating blow with "Back Where I Belong" featuring Ja Rule from the number one album "GOAT" as Wyclef departs from Canibus' camp.
As far as Canibus go, my man is hittin' his ex-broad
I'm getting head from his new piece
While 20 gang-bangers applaud, you came up with that bullshit
Some heads sucked it up, then you dropped that garbage album
And Totally fucked it up, I coulda told ya I knew your moms
From the after-hours spot, when I used to be up in Canada
With the dreads on a black block, before you dick rode Lost Boyz
For a ticket our to Jersey, but being the man I am
I tried to show ya mercy, I coulda told the World
The way ya label hates your guts
And how me and Wyclef, got together to set you up
And how he gave me half your budget, don't believe me look it up
Ya A&R promotion niggas, they helped me hook it up
I hate to be responsible, for destroying your career
A one-hit wonder, huh
No Wonder you disappeared, I coulda told the world
You get your lyrics from the internet
Then spit 'em word for word
Like you really a rap vet, How you take metaphors from books
And put 'em in your rhyme, and how you really from Canada
And you been frontin' all this time
I heard your second album, that shit is garbage too
LL Cool J and I did this to you
On that note he said
"Yo L, you the man", I said peace, one love
And Drove off in the Lex Land

Canibus then goes around throwing freestyle disses trying to regain his damaged reputation. Let's hope LL answer correctly or ignore this lost cause.
