New label and final album with Def Jam - March 20

Always in search of new directions to take his life and creative energy, LL will start a new production company called Rock The Bells, which will be used as a label to produce young and upcoming stars.

The first artiste on the label will be rhythm and blues / pop group Amyth and Scola.

The tireless rapper / actor will enter the studio later this month to begin work on the follow-up to "G.O.A.T. Featuring James T. Smith: The Greatest of All Time." The as-yet-untitled album should be in stores in September or October and will be the tenth and final album for Def Jam label. It is rumored that Swizz Beatz, world renowned producer of the Ruff Ryders, will executively produce the album.

In the meantime look for LL, on the new Violator Management album, Violator V2, slated for a summer release. LL's song is called "Put Your Hands Up."
