This was our view as we were heading out for the Great Barrier Reef on one of Quicksilver's catamarans.

Remember the typhoon? Here's some evidence of it. They say our water will be a little murky as a result as well. Bummer.

Amy took advantage of the opportunity to learn to scuba dive at the reef!

I'd have loved to as well, but wasn't allowed due to pregnancy. I still had a great time snorkeling.

We were able to photograph underwater with special disposable cameras, but we got clearer shots of the coral and fish through the window of Quicksilver's submarine. Check out this slideshow of all our underwater pics!
