Amanda and Nick were hungry so they made themselves tuna while Savannah played in her play pen. While they ate they talked about the tour. Some of the things Nick told Amanda about the tour amazed her."One of the fans seriously had a poster with my picture on it crossed out with the word 'death' above it?" asked Amanda, after hearing Nick's stories of the tour.
"I'm more than serious, sweetie. She was waving it around trying to get my attention, which she did, and when I saw it I was pissed. The fans think that everything we do revolves around them. I wish we'd just lose fans who act like that," said Nick, in a most sincere tone of voice.
Amanda smiled knowing how Nick felt. She knew there was going to be many more hard times having to do with Savvy and her in Nick's life. They cleared the table and Savvy stared to whine.
"What's the matter, honey? You hungry?" said Amanda in a baby voice to Savannah. The baby reached her hands up as if to tell Amanda that she wanted to be fed. Amanda picked up Savannah and went into the sitting room. Nick followed not too far behind. Amanda handed Savannah to Nick so she could prepare herself, than took the baby back. Savannah sucked on Amanda's nipple planting her left hand on the upper part of Amanda's breast. Nick smoothed out Amanda's hair with one hand while he put the other around her. He kissed the top of her head, happy to be home with his family. Savannah started to cough signaling that she was done. Nick took Savannah while Amanda pulled down her tank top. As Amanda did that, Nick burped Savannah. She started to whimper soon after.
"I'm going upstairs to change her, sweetie. I'll be right back down," said Nick kissing the top of Amanda's sweet smelling hair.
Amanda went into the computer room to check her mail. What she saw made her heart want to stop. She sat there staring at the screen. Countless amounts of thoughts filled her mind. Nick came back down having put Savannah down for a nap seeing she was still tired. He heard Amanda's soft cries in the computer room. He ran to her and as if second nature he wrapped her up in his arms and hugged her. He pressed her head against his chest while kissing her head.
"Shh, sweetie, it's all right," said Nick in a soft voice referring to many death threats that flooded the computer screen. This had never happened to Amanda, she never thought the fans would go this far. She didn't even know how they got her email. She was too scared to worry about how they got their information. Amanda's cries turned to sniffles as she turned her head back to the screen.
She hadn't even open up the mail, but the subject of the mail said it all. Some of the subjects were 'you belong in hell. ‘You're an evil being. ‘I'm going to get you' and 'you're going to rot in hell you whore.' Nick guided Amanda up and sat down. He put his hands on her hips telling her to sit on his lap. Nick deleted all the mail and didn't bother to write a mean email back or report them. He wasn't going to be as low as them. He was too pissed off to even think clearly. He turned the computer off and held Amanda in his arms longer, comforting her.
A few hours later, it was 6:00 PM. Amanda was playing with Savannah in the playroom while Nick made spaghetti. Savannah laughed as Amanda made the toys do funny things. She made the teddy bears kiss Savvy and the dolls talk to her. Savannah got caught up in all the fun and started to scream and yell playfully. In the kitchen the spaghetti was cooking and the sauce was heating up. He put a white table clothe over the table with a candle in the middle. He put out the dishes and a bottle of red wine. He put out their crystal wine glasses. The spaghetti finished cooking and Nick put it on their plates and the sauce on top. He made sure everything was in place; the napkins, the white plates with silver trim, the crystal glasses, and the platinum coated forks, etc. It was all set. He called Amanda in and she came in right after she put Savannah down for bed. She came in and her eyes got wide. Nick saw this and smiled knowing he surprised her and loving it.
“Oh, Nick,” Amanda gasped, not being able to say anything else. Nick pulled out Amanda’s chair for her and slid her in. He went around and sat down. “Nick, the food smells great,” said Amanda.
“I should hope so. I made it just for you,” said Nick, knowing it was one of her favorite foods. Nick poured the wine and made a toast.
