"What the fuck!" yelled Nick."What's the matter, honey?" asked Amanda, getting their cereal.
"Look at this, baby," said Nick, holding the paper so Amanda could see it.
"Weren't these the people who you spoke to on the phone?" asked Amanda.
"Yup. And they're also the people I told that I would sue for everything they're worth if I ever saw pictures like this in the paper," said Nick, trying to stay calm. Amanda stood behind him and rubbed his back. Nick was too angry to even read the article. While Nick called up his management team Amanda took the paper and read the article. The article read:
As posted in the pictures above, you see that Mr. and Mrs. Nickolas Carter enjoy being with their new baby, Savannah Rose Carter. They go for daily walks like this as seen by the undercover helicopters that fly overhead for this purpose. Nick and Amanda are very protective of their baby. Fans have said that they think Amanda thinks that they (the fans) have no right to see their baby. As it seems, Nick happens to think the same way as Amanda. They said that they feel this baby is a personal part of their lives. They also said they want to try and keep Savannah out of the limelight. Like always, curiosity killed the cat. We just had to see their baby, as we know many of you fans reading this must have. The fans also tend to think that Amanda is arrogant, snotty, self-centered and thinks the world revolves around her knowing that Nick is 'all hers'. Many fans dislike Amanda for various reasons such as the ones listed above. But don't worry fans, we'll keep you posted on what happens in their life. For now, these pictures and this article will have to do.
When Amanda finished reading the article, Nick came in. "Well, our management is going to call them and straighten things out. This may turn into a legal deal though," said Nick, walking into the kitchen.
Amanda nodded her head saying, "Nick, when you get a chance read this article.” Amanda got up from his seat. She got their breakfast as Nick read the paper.
"That's bullshit. Pure fuckin bullshit," said Nick, pissed.
They ate their breakfast while talking about the article. They put their dishes in the dishwasher and as went to go sit on the porch, they heard Savannah over the baby monitor. Nick went up and got her. He got her dressed and brought her out to the porch so Amanda could feed her. They sat out on the porch and watched the rainfall. Savvy was soon finished right as the phone rang.
"Jesus Christ, does it ever end!" said Nick, jogging into the house. When he answered it he heard his mother's sweet voice on the other end. "Hey Mom," said Nick, happy to hear her voice.
"Hey, sweetie. I was wondering if you wanted to bring Savannah over for the day so you and Amanda could spend the day together. I'd love to see her," said Jane.
"That's really nice of you, Mom. Let me go ask Amanda. Hold on one-second," said Nick. "Amanda, honey?"
"Yes, sweetie," replied Amanda.
"My mother was wondering if she could watch Savannah for the day so you and I could spend the day together," said Nick.
"Aww, that's so sweet of her. Sure, tell her we'll get Savvy's things together and we'll be there in about 30 minutes," said Amanda.
Nick told his mother and hung up. Amanda burped Savvy and handed her to Nick. Amanda went up to Savannah's room and got her bag ready with toys, clothes, and things needed for diaper changing. When she got downstairs, she went to the fridge and got out 4 bottles of pumped breast milk. Nick got Savannah settled in the back of his Mercedes. Nick got in the drivers’ seat while Amanda got in the passengers' side. They drove to Jane and Bob's house and dropped off Savannah. Jane and Bob were so happy to see Savvy.
Instead of going home, Amanda and Nick went to a private park. Amanda sat on a swing while Nick slowly pushed her as her hair blew in the wind.
"This is so nice," said Amanda, referring to the weather.
"Yea, it is. I like it even more being able to spend this time with you, my lil manda," said Nick, smiling. Nick stopped the swing by grabbing her waist so her face was corresponding with his. He kissed her and said, "Yes...My lil manda." Amanda smiled at the name he called her.
"Lil manda...I like that," said Amanda, smiling up at her husband. Nick kissed her once more and let her go. Amanda closed her eyes taking in the feeling of freedom. She finally felt free for the first time in a long time. She felt like she was in a land that made her go beyond fame, away from the fans, the paparazzi, the writers and everything else that came with the package entitled 'fame.' After a few minutes on the swing, Amanda got off so her and Nick could take a romantic walk hand in hand. Nick put his arm around Amanda's shoulder while Amanda put her arm around his waist. She rested her head on his chest as he kissed the top of her head. They talked about personal things that they wouldn't normally be able to talk about while outside in fright of a fan or journalist standing by and listening. Then they quietly walked thinking with a clear mind for once.
Amanda was replaying her life since she had met Nick while he thought about getting her a surprise. Besides white tigers, dogs were her favorite animals. The one dog she always wanted, but never got was an Allegro Siberian Husky; the dogs with blue eyes. That's it, he was going to get her a Siberian Husky. He was going to get on top of it that night while she was asleep. He was going to call a breeder and see when the soonest he could get her the dog was. He wanted to get her a girl. I don't want the damn thing humping my leg, thought Nick.
"Amanda, honey," said Nick, looking down at Amanda.
"Yes, sweetie," replied Amanda.
"I'm going to call my mother to see what time she wants us to pick up Savannah, okay?" said Nick looking into her eyes.
"Okay, sweetie," said Amanda in return.
Nick took out his cell and called his Mom. "Hey, Mom...Really...Is she behaving...Good...Yea. Hey, what time do you want us to pick up Savvy…Are you sure…Okay...I love you too, Mom...All right, bye."
"What'd your mother say?" asked Amanda.
"She said we could call her when we're done with our day and pick her up whenever we're ready," said Nick, answering her question.
'Aww, how sweet of her," said Amanda, putting her arms around him again.
