He didn’t know how he was going to break this to the press, but he figured he’d keep it a secret, as long as it was okay with Amanda. He asked her what she thought they should do and she thought Nick should do what his heart told him to do. He told her he felt they should keep it a secret for a while, at least until they got some of their wedding plans settled. They sat in a nearby bench and talked for a while. It started to get cloudy so they walked really fast back to their room. They sat on their bed so they could discuss things for their wedding. They were very anxious to have this talk.“Amanda, do you want a big wedding, a medium wedding, or a small wedding?” asked Nick.
“Well, we both have a lot of friends and family so I think it would be best if we went with the big wedding, what do you think?” Amanda asked, wanting to know what he thought too.
Nick agreed on the big wedding. “What are we going to do about your wedding dress?” asked Nick.
“Well, I’ve seen a lot of Vera Wang’s designs and I’m absolutely in love with her work so I’ll probably have her design my dress,” said Amanda, answering Nick’s question.
“We should write down a list of people to invite,” suggested Nick. Amanda agreed. She handed Nick and pen and paper as well as herself. Thirty minutes later they had written down everyone. They put them together and found that they were going to be sending out about three hundred and fifty invitations.
“Wow, we’re popular,” Nick joked.
“I know. We must really be loved,” Amanda said.
“Do you know who your bridesmaids are going to be?” asked Nick.
“Yea, my sister, Andrea, will be my maid of honor and my bridesmaids are going to be Jess, Britt, Megan, Christa, and Amy,” said Amanda, knowing who she wanted to be in the wedding.
“Okay so six bridesmaids, that’s perfect. I’m just not going to have the rest of the guys in the wedding cause I want them to have fun, not work,” said Nick.
“Who are you going to have?” questioned Amanda.
“Chris is going to be my best man and then I’m going to have Aaron, Dan, Rich, Matt, and Mike,” said Nick, answering her question.
“This can’t be anymore perfect,” said Amanda.
They wrote everything down so they wouldn’t forget anything. It was pouring out so they really couldn’t so anything. Nick and Amanda decided to watch a little TV, but nothing good was on. Amanda still couldn’t believe she was going to marry Nick. She knew the fans were going to hate her even more, but she didn’t care. All she cared about was the fact that she was going to marry the man she loved.
“Hey Nick,” said Amanda.
“Yes, honey,” replied Nick.
“When do you think our wedding should be?” questioned Amanda.
“Well, I remember you saying that you wanted to have your wedding during the winter and I like that idea. Does sometime in December sound good to you?” said Nick.
“It sounds perfect to me,” Amanda responded. They talked for a little while longer and decided on December eleventh of the next year. Nick would be twenty-two and Amanda would have just turned twenty-one. They knew they were still very young, but they also knew that their love was real and nothing was going to change. The whole family thought they made a great couple. When they got home the next day the called their family and some of them were so happy they cried. That started Amanda crying because she was so happy that their families accepted their engagement. Nick embraced Amanda in a big teddy bear hug, which always made Amanda feel better. Earlier that day Nick called up the wedding store to see if anybody could help them plan their extravagant wedding. Sure enough, there was. This woman also helped Brat Pitt and Jennifer Anniston. The lady got on the phone so Nick could ask her a few questions. He loved the way she thought, as did Amanda. They arranged to meet over lunch that day to discuss wedding plans. The lady said that she would bring a wedding planner so they could keep everything organized. The woman’s name was Mrs. Janine Orletti. When lunch came around, they all met at a very nice restaurant. They talked everything over and got a lot done. They spoke of flower arrangements and decided to have about seven hundred white and pink roses at the church alone. They also decided on having little silk bag that had already picked peddles, but still in the shape of a rose for the guests to throw when they were leaving the church to get into the Rolls Royce.
