A Balloon Marvin the Martian and Myself. 		Hi! Welcome to my own little spot in the Hall of Mirrors. I shan't disclose my name, but I'll tell you a bit about me.

What I'm Doing
I graduated from University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Criminal Justice and (almost) French. I hope to go into forensic science or crime scene reconstruction at some point relatively soon in my lifetime. As of this missive, I am desperately seeking any moderately-paying job with some semblance of health care. The job market is too fickle to be picky at this point.
What I Did
I began this site three or four years ago as my way to share my interests with the rest of the world and in hopes that some small part of the rest of the world would share their interests with me. This would be where most of the various writings and links come from. Sometimes I feel like I am using this site to reach out to people, which is a new feeling for me. Previously, I think I used the Hall to hide from reality - building a website is very intoxicating in that you are able to build your own reality, sometimes to the point of becoming lost in it.

What I Like to Do
I suppose some of you are curious about my hobbies? I enjoy painting, and sometimes paint gaming miniatures used in various table-top war games. I also do two-dimensional work, although it has been a while between various time-consuming things such as work and school. I hope to have a portifolio of my painting here someday. I also draw and like to build stuff, whether it's abstract stuff or carpentry or models, I like all of it. I occasionally try to play bass, guitar, and keyboard/piano, although I feel my talent is meager at best. I like to try anyways. Reading is also pretty important to me, and I read almost everything except those cheap porno romance novels you find at the grocery-store check-out line. I like to mess about with my plants and my pets (Twitch, the cat, and Renfield, the gerbil). Throw in my
occasional video games and movies, my passion for cooking, the fact that I'm a Godzilla freak, and you've got me.


Oh yeah, and I'm really into Marvin the Martian also.
 I guess music is a pretty big part of my life - I like everything from punk to jazz to blues to classical to reggae to everything in between. I'm not overly fond of twangy whiny country music, but I can tolerate it.

I'm not sure what else to type at the moment, but check back - I may add here soon. The portifolio will be a while, but I'd like to write some more about things that are on my mind. Just for fun though, Here's some stats on me, just in case one comes up as a Jeopardy question.....
