Winter's Age

(R. Matsuo)

When we're back in time, can you see the sky? Is it as clear as the plans we made?
Not even knowing how we got from there ‘til now while not letting our "I do's" fade.

A little more gray, a little less play, a little more trust and respect.
And though I loved you then, I love you even more when we now have this time to reflect.

        Chorus
Now we have winters age in the summer days.
Springtime eyes in our autumn lives.
Oh you know that I loved you all my life.

When we were young I knew you were the one. Man and wife to have and to hold.
And with your hand in mine, a still moment in time, and a vow that will never grow old

We lived day to day in a struggle to stay where we wanted to be.
But for what love can bring you are the only thing I will ever need.

        Chorus

Oh this world just seems to go on and on and on.
But as long as we are one, our lives have just begun.

        Chorus
