Review of Una Noche (Give me just one night)

Last night (July 26, 2ooo) I had the chance to watch making the video with the new 98° video, ‘Give me just one night (Una Noche)’. Wayne Isham, who has directed the videos, ‘Because of you’, ‘The Hardest Thing’, and ‘I do (Cherish you)’ has truly outdone himself in this video. I have been a fan since the beginning, but this is definitely one of their sexiest videos. I literally had to peel myself away from the television! I loved the lyrics, and how they added a little Latin to their mostly R&B/pop flavor. Very few groups can pull that off, but 98° did with flying colors. I was also intrigued by how they used the beautiful natural and ancient scenery of Mexico instead of a stuffy sound stage. This truly proves the creativity, uniqueness, and dedication of everyone involved in the making of this video. I truly felt that it was the intention of the director and 98° to step apart from the already crowded "boy-band" persona. Because of watching this video, I now have the chorus permenatly imprinted in my memory. I’m totally positive that I will be one of the first in line to buy their new CD, Revelation, when it comes out on September 26th.

Some cool things I noticed:
- Jeff was in his boxers
- Nick was running around like a chicken with his head cut off cause he thought he was going to catch hell from Jessica for being with the girl
- Drew and Nick are both shirtless at times
- Jeff wiggles his arms and feet and calls it dancing. Then he kids, "Watch out *N Sync!" (What a good sense of humor!)
- Justin sounds amazed that there are so many "pretty girls"
- In the verse that Jeff sings he sounds a lot like Ricky Martin
- At the very end Justin tells Wayne (the director) that Nick is a "flamingo dancer"...um, sorry Justin, but a flamingo is a bird-try flamenco dancer!
Overall a very cute video and it definitely got me laughing!
