Jason (Jasgalli)'s Album Review

Finally, Toni has a new cd out. Ever since Secrets
came out I have been a huge fan, and before the new cd
came out I constantly had her debut album or Secrets playing in my cd player! Well, for right now, the
only cd in it is The Heat. This has to be Toni's best ever album, even topping Secrets.

1) He Wasn't Man Enough- A great choice for the first
single. Gives you a taste of what to expect from Toni
on The Heat. This has got a great sing along chours and a beat that can really make you dance. 10 out of 10

2) The Heat- This is one of the highlights from the
album This just has to be a future single, and should
be released this summer, around July/Aug. LaFace just
has to let this be the third single. I can just see the video now. Wow! Another hot song to bump and
grind to, with a great beat of music, and Toni's vocals flawless. 10 out of 10

3) Spanish Guitar- Definately a sure fire #1 hit! Just
has to be the next single The chours is unbeliveable
and the way Toni starts out so soft and quite and then merges into a loud shout out of pain in the end is so
emotional. You can actually hear the pain in there
voice. Another standout track and probably the best
song Toni has ever sang, even against Un-Break My Heart! 10 out of 10

4) Just Be A Man About It- This is one of the tracks
thas just doesn't appeal to me. As usual, Toni gives
a fabu performance, but the song itself just doesn't get me going. I feel that this just shouldn't be
released as a single unless it's a double one. 6 out of 10

5) Gimme Some- Here we go again. Another hot hip/hop
get out there on the dancefloor and shake your bon bon
song. Toni is superb in her vocals, and Left Eye's
rap fits so well into the song. One of the best cuts
on The Heat. More of these songs should be done on Toni's next album. 10 out of 10

6) I'm Still Breathing- Another fantastic ballad from
the Queen of Sad Love Songs. Only this time, she's telling her man, You are gone and guess what I've
survived. This is another cut that has to be a single. Trust me, all day after you hear this one
song you will be singing the chours in your head. 10 out of 10

7) Fairytale- I have to admit, that when I first heard
this song, I did not like it. However, after a few
other listens, it had me. Now, it is one of my favorites. I love the music in the background and
love the way Toni sings with such passion and urgency. 8 out of 10

8) The Art of Love- Another hot and standout track. This is very ala Donna Summer of Love To Love You
Baby. Simply hot seductive beats with just little coos and oohs from Toni. Great cut. 9 out of 10

9) Speaking In Tounges- Killer song with chours that
is gonna have you humming all day. I can't get this
song out of my head. No matter what. Toni shows that
she's got what it takes to become a great writer on this album, especially with this track that show wrote
entirely on her own. 10 out of 10

10) Maybe- I had no idea Toni could sing like this.
It took me by surprise when I first heard it but wow
. This is another great song. Toni sings of wanting to
get it on with her man,yet a bit reluctant. This is
another track destined to be a hit and really should
be a future single.

11) You've Been Wrong- When all of the Braxtons are
singling, it's like music to your ears. A really hot
number, and the wayt he music moves around the vocals
is terrific. 8 out of 10

12) Never Just For A Ring- This is the final cut
fromt the album and one that has to be released as a
single. Again, the music is woven tightlty around
Toni's voice which makes for a steller track. It has
great bass and a hot chours. 10 out of 10

In all, Toni has proven yet again that she is someone
who will be around for along time. The Heat is going
to explode all over this summer, and Toni is going to
be taking home more and more Grammys with this winner of an album.
