What can I say? I am completely overcome with joy. The
sultry R&B diva is BACK (and back with a bang I might
add). I just bought my copy of the Heat yesterday and
there isn't a word good enough to do justice to how
great this album is so I'll go with the
BOMB!!!!!.

The album starts out with the ultra hip number one
smash "He Wasn't Man Enough". This song was written
and produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and he did
a wonderful job.

The title track "The Heat" defines the caliber of this
album HOTT!!!!

One of my favorites on this album is "Spanish Guitar"
this song has got number one written all over it. This
song was written by the incomparable Diane Warren who
wrote Toni's all time best "Un-Break My Heart". This
song shows Toni's amazing ability to sing with such
feeling which many other artists lack.

Another song written by Diane Warren was the
heartbreaking ballad "I'm Still Breathing". Very good
I must tell you.

The other tracks on the album are very good as well
and what makes me love this album even more is the
fact that Toni wrote about eight(8) of the songs. She
also did alot of producing and co-producing as well as
vocal arrangements and even playing the keyboards at
times. This only makes me respect Toni a whole lot
more. This album also sees Toni's sisters doing back
up as they did on her debut album.

All in all this album is a must have because Toni
didn't disappoint her fans. She stayed true to her
sultry and sexy voice. Where Mariah and Celine try
reach the high notes, Toni stuck with her deep
tantalizing voice placing her into a Diva class of her own.
