I smell danger in the air
I fear death may be near
My pack is in danger now
We must run and try to hide

I hear the bang of a gun
Humans are near
Hunting my pack
Killing my pack

No reason at all to kill us
We did nothing to them
It was the dogs
The wild dogs

They did not want
Did not care for
Now needless blood flows
My packs blood

I weep as now
All my pack is dead
Or dying
I see so much blood
I smell the sent of the pack

I look around the carnage
Needless in my eyes
Why I ask, Why
Why the wolves

We mean you no harm
Yet you put us in danger
Why do you hate us
You kill us for no reason
Other than HATE

We do not hate you
We do not mean to harm you
We do not put you in danger
Yet you raid our land
Take our homes

You put us in great danger
All the time
Please try and understand
We do not endanger you

Yet you almost killed us off
So there would be no more of my kind
So sad, I weep for my pack
And all the other packs

The ones that are no more
I weep I see the blood
It flows from their wounds
It flow out of their mouths
I weep and wish I could help

Should I kill the humans
For this wrong they done to us
No I will not
It would make me no better
Than they are

I lean my head back,
Close my eyes,
And let out a
Mournful howl for
My fallen pack

For now I will leave
To find a new pack
Make them strong
Teach them to avoid
The dangers of Man.
