A couple of years ago I experienced something wonderful. The opportunity to live for a while overseas. A small town called Delhi (pronounced "Del-High"), which is in Delaware County, upstate New York, USA. I would have to say this was the most wonderful experience of my whole life. Never before had I been in such a sweet, friendly place. I really didn't have a care in the world. Nothing was better than to wake up each morning and look out of the window and just know you were in another world that was peaceful and stress free.
I'll spare you the details of how and why I managed to get the opportunity to visit this wonderful place, (as the story is long and complicated), but if you really need to know, just send me an email and I will explain all...hehe.
What I can tell you is that I visited Delhi twice. Once in 1998 for about 5 months, then again for a month over the 1999/2000 Christmas period. Both times were wonderful and I hope once again in the future I will get back there again. The following links are a collection of photos from my two visits.
