Hundreds of young screaming girls waited for Aaron Carter to come out and sing at his two sold out concerts at Cowboys on Feb. 28.

In fact, they were so ecstatic, they screamed for every bouncer and roadie who set foot on the stage.

So it's not surprising that Carter answered "meeting all the girls" when I asked him what is the best part about his job. When interviewed, Aaron seemed like any 11-year old boy -- except for the bodyguards and groupies.

He feels that being famous is like any other job. While he's on the road, his mom teaches him school.

He said his favourite song is Girl You Shine. When I asked him about the songs on his first album, he said he hadn't written any of them.

But he's looking forward to doing so on his next recording.

After admitting to sometimes having stage fright, Carter was obviously prepared for his shows and he was up and bouncing from the first song.

The crowd enjoyed every tune, shouting out the lyrics as if they were each on stage with Aaron. They can dream, since Aaron proved an 11-year-old can be on stage -- and a 12-year-old can interview him!

I have to say, though, that the highlight for me was the opening act, Calgary's own Limited Edition.

I preferred the group's music and lyrics.
