***CHAPTER 1***

~ Friends United ~

Sheronica was jerked awake when her bedroom door flew open and she heard, "You better wash out, you betta not swout, you betta wash out bewause I'm tellin' you why"

"Ugh.. Sarah, I'm sleeping", Sheronica moaned to her sister as she pulled the covers over her head. Sarah was only four years old, and she was about three feet. She had brown spiral curls in her short hair, with flashing big green eyes.

"Cici" Sarah said climing up on her big sister's bed.

"Cici" she yelled by Sheronica's ears shaking her, "Cici, I made you some coffee downstwairs"

"Wonderful, save it for me" Sheronica mumbled half-asleep. Sarah knew exacly what to say for Sheronica to wake up. Dream Street. Dream Street has inspired her in many ways. Dream Street has been there for me by doing the one thing they love most, and that's singing. Dream Street is her inspiration, motivation, they're her hero.

"Dream Street is on TV" Sheronica's eyes flew wide open and she quickly tossed her covers off and started out the door until she tripped over her blue skateboard and landed right on her face.

**flash back**

"7....8.....9.....10.... ready or not, here I come!", a young girl yelled. Sheronica.

"Found ya"

"That was easy spreashy!" she smiled.

"Hey! You didn't even count 1 through 6! No fair! And plus, spreashy isn't a word so that's cheating, you butt head!" a young boy answered. He was Sheronica's best friend. He had blonde long hair that hang below his ears, and brown eyes.

"For your info, beep, I'm not supposed to count 1 through 6! Remember the rules?" she asked casually.

"The rules? Since when was that a rule?"

"Since now"

"No fair! You made that up just now"

"Jee, nothing gets past you, beep, does it?"

"Oh, I'm gonna get you, Sher!"

"Ahhh" Sheronica shrieked running around.

"AHHHHHH" was the last thing he heard. Sheronica's sight went blank and her forehead was hurting badly.

He froze in horror. His mind went numb and his hair prickled on the back of his neck. The voice, the scream, it sounded VERY familiar.

"Oh god, Oh god" In an instand he was running. He reached the body laying on the ground and fell to his knees and began cradling her head in his lap. His chest heaved searching for breath, his fear refusing to allow any in as his locket with the letter 'S' carved on it hung down. A thin thrickle of blood ran down her forehead.

**end of flash back**

Who was the guy in all of these flashbacks she had? She didn't know. Everytime she would have these flashbacks, the noise "beep" replaced with his actual name. All she knew was that he had to be very special to her.

"Are you okay?", she heard her bestfriend, Emily ask. Sheronica looked up with her vision blurred and squeenked her eyes until she saw a girl with long blonde hair and blue-green eyes. She was the same height as Sheronica, which was 5'7.

"Yes, I'm okay" Sheronica replied "I'm having a blast on the floor!"

"Here" Corwin, Emily's boyfriend said reaching out his hand, and managed to laugh which revealed his amazing smile. Corwin was black, with long braids, and hazel eyes. He was two inches taller than Emily.

"Thanks" she said taking ahold of his warm hand and pulling herself up.

"So, we're about to go to the beach, wanna come?" Emily asked, rubbing her hands together as a habbit. The beach was only a mile away, since they lived in Miami, Florida.

"Yeah, uh, yeah sure. Let me get dressed real quick"

"Okie dokie" Emily said walking out with Sarah on her back.

"..."

"Ahem" Sheronica coughed as she stared at Corwin.

"Oh, yeah, yeah, ok", Corwin said, seeming to be daydreaming. He still stood there until she pushed him out and closed the door behind him.

Sheronica was wearing her blue bikini with aqua flame designs, with a swim suit see through pull-over over it, and blue flip-flops. She carried her beach bag with her towel, brush, and things like that in it. She had her long brown hair with blonde tips in a simple ponytail, which made her big brown eyes stand out.

"It's about time", Emily said turning off the TV, "I thought you died or something".

"Hey, I'm a girl. And girls take long."

"I'm a girl too, and I don't take that long to get ready" Emily said standing up from the couch.

"You do too take long" Corwin said standing up behind her and putting his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her head.

"You don't take long because, well, you're not a girl!" Sheronica said joking.

Emily didn't try to think about Sheronica joking around or being serious. "Haha, very funny", Emily said sacasticly. Sheronica rolled her eyes and turned to Sarah.

"Sarah, tell Mommy and Daddy I went to the beach with Emily and Corwin when they get back. Okay sweetie?"Sheronica said talking how she usualy talked to her little sister, "And try not to wake your big brother up"

"Yeah huh" Sarah gave Sheronica's legs a hug. Sheronica, Corwin, and Emily walked out the front door.

"So who's driving?" Sheronica asked as they walked to a red sports car.

"Why don't you?" Emily asked as she hopped in the back seat and shut the door.

"If only I had my drivers licence!" Sheronica said loudly. She opened the door and bent down to get in. She bumped her forehead and shrieked.

"Owww"

"Bad day, huh?", Emily asked.

"Nah, I'm having the perfect day" she said in a sweet tone with a fake smile as Corwin climbed in and shut his door.

After talking, laughing, and listening to Dream Street music that Sheronica forced them to listen to, they pulled up in the parking lot next to the beautiful beach. Palms swayed in the breeze, as the sun set over the glimmering sea. Colors grew around the sun, mixing in with the clouds. The cooling sand had grown hotter as the sun rose. The scent of flowers blew with the breeze that was swaying the palms. They hopped out of the car and walked accross the sand to find a spot to put their stuff at. There were about sixty people scattered around the beach running around, playing games, building sandcastles, swimming, gettin' tanned, and just chillin'.

***CHAPTER 2***

~ Friends United ~

"Ah hah," Emily said, "perfect spot" She laid down her beach towel, put her sun tan lotion on, her sunglasses, and layed down as Corwin ran with his surf board out into the ocean.

"Oh, come on!" Sheronica squeeked.

"Sun tanning is so boring, let's go swim" she said excitingly.

"I CAN'T HEAR YOU" Emily said loudly.

"Ugh..", Sheronica moaned and looked around. "Woah, hott-eeee aleart!" Sheronica said looking at a guy with diry blonde hair, big brown eys, about 5'10, and muscles.

Emily leaned up, set her sunglasses upon her head, and followed Sheronica's gaze.

"You're right", Emily agreed, "Watch this"

"What?" Sheronica asked. Emily didn't hear Sheronica, she totally ignored her. She had her mind set on the guy. Everytime she saw a guy, she did nothing but focus on him.

"Hey sexy, wanna go out?" Emily said jokingly, when she reached to him. The guy gave her a "do you have a mental problem?" look that Emily gets alot from guys. And he walked away.

"Fine be that way" Emily repeatingly thought and jogged back to Sheronica.

"What happened?" Sheronica asked.

"I think I scared him"

"Haha"

"Shut up"

"WELL, I'M GOING TO GO SWIMMING AND HAVE A FUUUUUUN TIME!" Sheronica said loudly as she took off her pull-over, slipped off her flip-flops, and took her hair down. She set down her beach bag.

"Look who's lookin' at you" Emily stated.

"Umm, you?" Sheronica asked.

"No, no", Emily said, "That 'hott-eeee' guy." Sheronica turned around and could hardly make-out the guy looking towards her. He turned away.

"Me? Noo, noo. He's probably just looking at some other girl" Sheronica said doubtfully.

"Well, see ya" Sheronica ran accross the hot sand. She was about to put her foot down in the water until she heard a very familiar voice say,

"Yo, wad up?"

She turned around. It was the "hott-eeee" guy.

For some reason all the memories she kept with that boy in her flashbacks swam wildly in her head. She got that warm heart feeling. She didn't know why. She looked at him deeply in his brown orbs. Her sight dropped down to his muscular chest that had a locket hanging down close to his heart, with the letter "S" carved on it. "Oh my god" she thought. Could it be? No, it couldn't be. Is it? The young boy. The young boy she had been having all these flashbacks about. For he isn't a young boy now. He didn't have long blonde hair that hang below his ears. He wasn't skin and bones. He didn't have that sound of immaturity in his voice. He had short dirty blonde hair. He was all muscle. He had maturity in his voice. There was only one thing left that she could tell the fact that he was the boy in her flashbacks. The locket. The gold and shiney locket with the letter "S" carved right in the middle. She put her hand over her locket with the letter "A" carved on it. The lockets that symbolized their love, trust, loyalty, and all the memories they had together when they were little.

**flash back**

"Hey babe!"

Sheronica just stared at him surprised that the same boy that had once called her a ‘poopie head’ was now calling her ‘babe’. What surprised her even more was the fact that him calling her that seemed natural and she wouldn’t have even noticed it if she hadn’t been picking up on little things like that lately. The little things were what made Aaron so wonderful.

"Hey, Aaron! When did you get here?"

"Just now" He gave her a quick hug. He looked up at the bright stars overhead.

"Turned out to be a nice night, huh?" She nodded and noticed the velvet box he held in his hand.

"Is that mine?" she asked. He held on tighter to the box and grinned.

"No, it's for the ocean, you think it'll like it?" She rolled her eyes.

"Can I have it now?"

"In a few minutes" he answered. She sighed noisly and shivered dramaticly.

"Jeez, it's cold." Now it was time for Aaron to roll his eyes.

"Well it wouldn't have been if you had a jacket on!" He shrugged off his own and wrapped it around her shoulders. They began walking. They ended up sitting on the dock with their legs dangling in the water.

"Why do you always give me gifts here?" she wondered loudly. He thought for a moment.

"I dunno. The docks just... just our special place, I guess" he said. She smiled.

"So... Can I have it now?"

"Ok, ok!" He handed her the box and she opened it quickly.

"Oh my gosh"

"Aaron, it's beautiful!"

He gave her a hug and smiled. It was a locket with the letter "A" carved into it. She opened it and it had a picture of them together playing at the beach.

"That's funny" she said almost in a whisper.

"What?" he questioned. Sheronica took a small paper bag out of her pocket and handed it to Aaron.

He tore it open and there laid a locket with the letter "S" carved into it. He as well opened it and it had a picture of them together jumping on a trampoline.

**end of flashback**

Weird. She thought. She actually had a flashback that didn't have the noice "beep" replaced with the boy's name. Aaron.

"Oh, nothing, just about to go into the water" she finally said as she let out the breath she didn't know she was holding.

"Oh, I see", the guy said.

"So, what's your name?", he questioned.

"My wonderful name is Sheronica", she said, "Sher for short"

"Awesome name. It sounds familiar", he said.

"Oh, thats so awesome! I've never heard someone say that my name sounds familiar or I've never known a girl with the name Sheronica. It's a very rare name", Sheronica said stepping a little to the right, where the water swept across her burning hot feet. "Ah, better", she thought.

"Uuuh. Yeah", the guy grinned.

"What's your name?" Sheronica asked.

"Aaron"

'Oh my god' Aaron.

"Oh, love the name"

"Thanks"

"Anytime" Sheronica said smiling and he smiled back.

"Soo" "Wanna go swim?" she asked.

"Nah, I'm about to go to the surf board shop over there to buy that new surf board that's out", he replied. He bit his lip,

"You know what? I can buy you one too. Do ya like surfing?"

"Well.. I don't really know how to surf.. But I already have two of those new surf boards," Sheronica said, "You can have one if you'd like. I only need one of them anyways. They're all in my friend's car"

"Really?" he questioned.

"Yup." she nodded.

"Really? You'd actually give one to me for free?" he wondered louldy and happily.

"Yeah, sure, why not? I mean, unless you WANT to pay me.
