The Circus
'Yey Clowns' cried Dan as they entered the circus through the back entrance, they had private entry as Jacobs brother, Leo the Lion was in the show.They made their way to the seats and sat down. Dan had made the other guys buy him flashing lights and a headband with little elephants on that jiggled about. On the way Ashley had slipped Erik a candy heart, which he was rather pleased with, those late night talks were getting better and he was getting free candy.
One of the kids sat next to trevor turned to him and asked ' Hey are you in the show? shouldnt you be down there?'
Trevor looked down very embarassed.
'Hey man i told you not to wear green and orange together, you look stupid!' laughed Erik. Trevor began to cry but quickly wiped away his tears and punched the kids leg, but he just laughed, so Trevor burst into tears and ran off. Ashley and Erik snuggled up close to watch the show as Jacob got out his guitar and began to play the circus tune until Dan shouted at him to stop because he couldnt hear the bears talking.
They watched the show quietly , they saw Elephants, Bears, Horses and Clowns. Dan was in heaven, it was just like his home. So was Jacob, but it was actually his home and he had to be back in his cage in 20 minutes.
The circus master came into the ring and began talking into what looked like Trevors hair.....but it was just the mic.
'And now ladies and gentleman, the amazing FAT MAN!'
'Hey i didnt know Lou was in the show' exclaimed Erik as he watched a humoungously fat man be pulled onto the stage. 'Wait, thats not Lou unless hes lost 400 pounds and dyed his hair pink'
'Thats not Lou stupid, thats his brother Fou-Dou' said Jacob as if it was a cool thing to know.
They tried to haul him on stage but it was no good.There was no way he was getting on there. The circus master panicked, what was he going to do? he had a 25 minute spot to fill. A very big spot by the looks of it. He began to sweat , it was quite disgusting. To stop the spread of the foul stench Ashley noticed him getting very aggitated and stood up, he pulled on his superman cape and dashed to the stage. He whispered something into the mans ear and the crowd watched as a smile 10 miles wide stretched over his weirdly formed face.
'Ok ladies and gents, a treat for you. This young man here is going to attempt to walk the high rope!'
Gasps filled the circus. Erik watched carefully as Ashley climbed the ladder to the 10 metre high rope. It seemed to take forever to get all the way up there. He got to the top and spread his cape. There was complte silence. He walked the first few steps perfectly, making sure the audience got a good look at his butt, he knew they would stare at that so they wouldnt see his face showing that he was sh!tting himself. He stopped still and felt all dizzy. He looked about.
'Oh my god!' he shouted ' where the hell is my shadow!?' He started to panick and shake. Everyone was horrified as his feet left the rope and he fell. He fell for what seemed like an eternity, until heheard a voice, a very sweet voice like the voice of god, it was Erik but how was he to know
'Use the cape Ash!' he said in a very star wars effect voice.
Ashley pulled out his cape and swooped up high into the air. He was flying. 'Oh my god!Im flying!I'm flying Jack, Im the king of the world!!!' he shut up when he realised he had watched Titanic way too many times with Erik. He flew around the arena to the cheers of the onlookers and eventually anded up up on the ground. Everyone clapped and cheered for SuperAsh. Since he had stolen the show the circus master gave him an elephant to cherish which he then gave to Dan as a Christmas present.
He made a casual job out of flying about, well in his bedroom. Erik was so happy to be dating a super hero. Oh and Trevor and Jacob joined the circus as a lion Tamer and lion, but which was which? nobody knows!
