Backstreet Boys Back In Studio

Backstreet Boys fans can look forward to a comeback album from the band this summer, followed by a tour in the fall, Rolling Stone reports.

The band has spent their two-year hiatus reflecting on their success and getting ready for their new album.

The songs that are currently being recorded for the album in various Los Angeles studios are said to be a more mature sound from the teen pop stars.

The album will feature a couple of ballads co-written by Howie Dorough that are reminiscent of Craig David's urban soul vibe.

The boys say that the album will touch on many different styles of music to reflect the all the music they have experienced over the past couple of years.

They also plan on collaborating with an array of different artists including the Matrix and the Underdogs. Keith Richardson and Nick Carter are also hoping to write with hip hop/funk musician Kenna.
