Greetings from Tinsel-town! California is beautiful, and LA is treating me right. I’m all moved into my new apartment and I love it! I still miss New York (and you, of course), but it was time for a change. I just had to write to tell you that I got a call to produce one of my songs. I know you’re thinking “no big deal” because I’ve been doing that for seven years now. This is different though. I’m producing for Nsync.
Taliah walked across the busy intersection and placed the envelope in the mailbox. She looked around to see no familiar faces. Maybe coming out here from New York City wasn’t such a great idea, she thought to herself. Too late now.
Job offers rolled in all the time. Producing, writing, singing, you name it, she got the call. Being a recording artist wasn’t on Taliah’s list of goals anymore. Almost nine years ago, in Europe, she had her deal, she had her album, hell she had her dreams all in the palm of her hand but she gave it up. She got the looks from the industry people as if she was crazy, but she felt she could better spend her time. That’s when she continued her writing and started to produce. With that solitary CD still out on the shelves, it wasn’t long before artists, old and new, were knocking on her door. So to speak.
