THE CALL
CHAPTER 1
It was Friday night at 12:07. Melisa was going crazy. She was in tears. She called everyone she knew for help. She was really frecking out. She would just die if anything happened. She sat down on her bed. Her head in her hands crying and afraid. She didn't know what had happened. She tried calling but know one anwsered! Three minutes later she heard her phone ring.
"Hello..." She said with a trembling voice because she was still crying. She had no clue who she was talking to but then realized. "What the fuck, were the hell are you? Do you know you had me scared to death here! You could have atlest called, hello do you ever use your head?" She said so mad.
"Hey chill I dont have to call you to tell you that I am okay damn it! And by the way..."
"Yes you do! I hate you gosh I can believe you!" She cut him off. "Well at least your okay...but dont you ever forget to call got that!" She said pissing off again.
"Look my battery is low i gotta go bye." The person responded.
"What the fuck NICK!" Then the phone was cut off. She just was so mad. 'What the fuck just happend oh I am gonna kill him!' She thought. Still very pissed off at Nick but she was also worried she couldnt hear what he was saying at the end and was scared it was bad! She still was pissed and thought atleast she should try to sleep. He will be home soon and so she did try to sleep but could barely sleep. She finally fell a sleep and later at six she heard the door close and was a wakened. Her first thoughts were 'who the hell is it?' Then she was a little happy because she knew it was Nick. He could never be if his life depended on it. A slit smile crawled on her face. She was still a little sleeply. She went out into the family room down stairs.
"Nick your home FINALLY!" Then she snapped at him. "Where the HELL where you?" She asked in a bitchy tone.
"I...I...I was at a hotel." Nick stutterd.
"Nick why would you be at a hotel when your house is here? You dont have to go to a hotel. You know if your near by you can just be home instead." She said.
"Well I wasn't near by." He answered.
"But i thought you said you ere near by...Nick whats going on?" She asked knowing Nick wasn't telling the whole truth.
"Nothing is going on." Then he came up to her and put his hands around her like a hug and kissed her. Trying to make her forget and she knew that because he would always so that if he didn't want to talk about something but she quickly pulled away. She could see Nick had a weird expression on his face like he was saying 'whats going on?'
"Nick whats going on?" She asked him unstead.
"Nothing." He said.
"There is..." She was cut off by Nick because he was kissing you again! This time she pulled away and moved back a little.
"Nick please stop it!" She asked him.
"What?" He acted like he had not a clue is to whats wrong."What can't I even kiss you anymore?" He asked.
"Yes but..."He cut her off again. She just gave up and kissed him back this time. She thought he would keep doing that so she pretty much had no choice. A couple of minutes later both of them finally pulled away.
"Wow!" She said.
"Yeah I know I thought so to." He said all cooly.
"No Nick I mean you smell like beer!" She said to him.
"Huh? what? No I dont." He argued.
"Yeah you do Nick. What the fuck did you do? Did you go to a club last night? Huh?" She waited on an answer. "Nick!"
"What I didn't OKAY! Gosh whats wrong with going anyways!" He lied to her.
"Nick I know you can get really drunk and I know how drunk you get and what you do when you are that drunk! Nick tell me you weren't drunk!"
"No i wasn't! So i went to a club sorry but anyways I wasnt drunk OKAY!"
"Nick you lied to me! You know what i have had enough of this i am going out...I am gonna go shopping!" She said angry not even able to look at Nick anymore. And need so time to herself.
"At this time!" Nick said suprised!
"Nick its 6:52 BYE!"
"Fine!"
Then he when right up stairs and Melisa went out to her car. She got her cell and called her friend Jenifer.
"Hello" Jenifer answered.
"Hey you wanna go to the mall right now?"
"Um...."
"Come on I'll pick you up right now bye."
"Oh all right bye."
She got to Jennys and rang the door bell. She called Jenifer 'Jenny' for short.
"Hey sup come in girl."
"Hey thanks, you ready?" She asked.
"Yeah just let me get my purse and we can leave okay?"
"Alight I'll wait in side my car okay." "K."Jenny replied. Melisa had a sliver kinda sparkly car a convertable mustang (SP?). With light cream colored leather seats.
"Jen come on!" She called to her friend.
"Okay hold up let me sit at least."
"Okay, but hurry." She chuckled.
She and jenny got to the mall. Jenny and Melisa lived in Florida and went to the 'Sun set mall.'(Author note: i made that up k.)Both of them got inside and when to the abercanombia and fitch store first. Melisa bought some really cool jeans they were a mixed color of dark blue and light blue. They looked great. She also bought a light blue belly top to go with it and some other hair clips and some cool make up. Melisa and Jenifer left and were going to the gap and they ran into a god friend, Kari *carry*.
"Hey kari whats up?" She said very happy and perky. She looked at her like she was crazy and like she had no clue who she was, even though she does know her. Then she smiled and said.
"Whats up are you okay?"
"Huh what are you talking about? I am fine I think its you who isn't." She said with a weird look.
"Yeah kari are YOU okay?" Jenny asked.
"Yeah I think your the one who should be very unhappy and pissed..." Kari started.
"What are you talking about who would I be pissed at?" Melisa said confused.
"At Nick HELLO!" Kari answered.
"But why?" She said confused and scared to find out because it could have had to do with what had happend last night when Nick wasn't telling her anything. She was suddenly serious and dumbfound.
"Oh my gosh didn't Nick tell you?"
"Tell her what?" Jenny asked for Melisa oh was speechless. She stood there in silence and finally said something.
"Shut up jenny. What was it Kari?" That was the frist time she ever told her friend to shut up and it almost hurt cause they were so tight together. She quickly said sorry and she forgave her.
"Didn't he tell you? I mean when did you break up with him?" Melisa felt as if the whole world was going to carsh and fall on her. She couldn't talk or move. She almost would have almost feel to the ground. Finally she moved and ran out.
"On my gosh!" Her friends ran right after her. Strait to the parking lot to her car.
"Melisa! Oh my gosh you didnt break up with him?" Kari asked. Not really trying to make things worse. Melisa burst out crying even louder. Her friend just sat there not knowing what to do.
"I am really sorry I didn't...I mean..." She was cut off by Melisa. She manged to ask her in betwee tears,
"Did Nick say he is breaking up with me?" She demanded to know!
"Uh uh uh I...uh."
"Kari!" Melisa requested an answer though her crys.
"Um I dont know how to tell you but yesterday I was at a club and I saw Nick and this other girl kissing and very close together. Then I think I saw him leave with her I am so so sorry maybe it wasn't him I just could have imagened it that why I was scared to go see!" Kari said that all so quickly it took a moment to sink into Melisa. She just stopped sobing and didn't say any thing except
"Kari you need a ride home?"
"Um know that okay I came with a friend but if you need me I can stay with you in the but then I need to go back with mah friend." She responded.
"Just Get In The Car!"
"Okay." She did an dhten melisa drove home in silence. She dropped off her friends and speeded home or to that ass holes home. She got inside and was going up...
"hey melisa are you okay?" Nick asked.
"Okay!?! YOU LIL ASS HOLE!" She ran up stairs to get packed.
"What the FUCK!"
