THE CALL
CHAPTER 5
Nick slowly turned around and walked out the door, helplessly. Melisa sorta felt bad she just wanted to say that he was forgiving, but she just couldn't! She sat there and cryed tell morning! She just felt so bad and she really wanted nick to be here with she and be her boyfriend again but if he hurt her like this again she would just have to die she couldnt handle it! She could have sat there all day and do nothing except cry and feel sorry for herself! Melisa would have but only she had to go to work today! And she really really didnt want to go to work! she had to help the "boys" with the singing *she was there vocalist* And that meant she'd have to see nick and HAVE to talk to him to help him! ERRR!

She walked in trying to be normal as much as possable! She looked straight ahead and saw the worst thing in the world! Nick Carter was siting there with lik 20 girls around him....more like on him! Melisa just turned around and she just felt like crying she didnt know what came over her! She went staight to the girls bathroom and just broke down crying! She just couldn't still be in love with nick especially after what he did to her. She just couldn't, could she? Melisa got up and washed her face and looked as best as possable and went back out there! She notice that the girls had left now. She was amazed to see nick with a bunch of girl when only yesterday he was saying how much he loved her and all that other trash! She walked down and started to do herr job and helped the guys with there sing and practicing all the other stuff with there vocal cords she worked with each of them seperatly. usually she would get nick first when she went out with him. Everyone was used to that by now so all of them wouldnt even bother coming to see who was going to be first. but today it was a little different you decide to call someone else first .
"AJ can you come here, i wanna work with you first today!?!"
AJ just looked at her confussed so did all the other guys except nick who was talking to brian.
"Uh hey melisa i think you made a mistake but did i just hear you call me to work with you first?" AJ said confused.
"Yeah I did call your name. Why is that a problem?" She asked.
"Oh no not at all. its just a little different, yeah no"
"How so?? i always end up working with you?"
She said trying to be very casual
"Well for one thing nick is always first and you two are always flirting lik crazy befor we start."
"Well i guess thats changed"
(AUTHORS NOTE: okay the next part happens when aj and you were talking)
*$* BRI AND NICKS CONVERSATION *$*
"Okay that was weird ..." Brian stated.
"What is?" Nick said like he didnt notice a thing.
"Oh come on you mean you didnt just notice that melisa just called AJ first to help him!?!"
"Yeah so whats your point?"
"Whats going on between ya'll too?"
"Nothing, and if you wanna know its not "us" anymore its me or her!"
"What do you mean?"
"We broke up." nick said casually like not ever really happened.
"What are YOU serious!?! What ya do bro?"
"I didnt do anything! and whats the big deal?"
"The big deal is you two were meant for each other! Dont you see!?!"
"No cant say i do." Nick said acting as if he was bored with brians so called "talk"
"FINE never mind!"

"Hey brian! its your turn."She yell across the room.
"Alright coming!" He yelled back.
*$*Melisa's *&*
Brian's Conversation *$*
"Okay now you just sing this aight." She said pointing to a piece of paper.
"Alright." Brian sings.
"Okay thats good but they making your voice higher when you sing this line."
"kay."
"Thats better."
"Um...Melisa i know this isnt any of my business but why did you and nick break up?"
"Well bri that something i really need to talk to someone about that and i broke up with nick and since your his best friend do you think you could help me?"
"Sure with what?"
"Well i wanna talk to you bout nick i am so confussed?"
"Yeah sure! you wanna come to my place after this and talk?" He said in the sweetest voice possiable.
"Sure!" She smile a little. "Oh and thans rok." He smiled back to you and left cuz your were done working with him for now.
*$* MELISA *&* ROK"S CONVERCATION ENDED*$*
Okay its now or never and she has no choice. so she guessed that meant its now. She took a deep breathe. then she thought to herself.
'Please god dont make this any harder then it is! Please!'
"Alright Nick your turn." She signed as she yelled over to him.
"Aight lets get this over with!" Nick said.
"Trust me i dont wanna be here anymore then you do." She said in a rude voice.
She bent over to look though a couple of papers to find the song that she need to get out and she could tell by the corner of her eye that nick was cheeking her but out! the nerve she thought! knowing nick he couldnt help it he always was so helpless when she would wear something low cut from the front and very tight! this was anoying her so much! She got the song and sat up.
"Nick i think we need to fouces ON THE SONG! not wat i'm wearing!" She just said that to emberasse him and it worked his cheeks turned red.
"What THE FUCK! I WASNT LOOKIN AT YOU!"
"Thats just TIPICAL YOU! LIE WHY DONT YOU!"
"LOOK I AINT COME HERE TO FIGHT WITH MY X!"
"FINE! BYE!" She said to Nick.
"THAT JUST GREAT WITH ME ITS NOT LIKE I WANNA SEE YOU ANYWAY!" Nick said mad.
Melisa ran out of the room and she started to feel tears pouring down. She notice brian was still here so you just want up to him.
"Hi Brok wat are you still doing here?" She said trying to wipe the tears from your eyes.
"I thought you might want a ride." Then brian became very serious and kind. "Whats wrong?" He said as he notice she were crying.
"I'll tell you later! can we please go to your place now?" She asked.
"Yeah sure hope in." He said with a smile.
