****New Years Eve****
“I hate make-up,” Zac said sitting in the chair next to me as he looked into the mirror.
“Darling- it makes you look fabulous!” The French make-up artist said brushing his face with powder.
“So are you two going out?” The young blond girl named Melissa doing my make-up asked.
“Kind of.” Zac answered.
Melissa laughed, “That’s so cute.”
I smiled to myself.
“Okay cutie, you’re done.” Melissa said fixing a piece of my hair.
“Thanks! It looks great!” I said hugging her.
“Anytime- you two have fun,” She said pointing her brush at Zac and I.
“Zac you look FABULOUS,” The French lady assured him.
“Whatever,” He smiled fixing his tie.
We walked out into the lobby where everyone else was waiting for us because the limo would be there any second.
“OW OW!” Ike teased.
Taylor and Carolyn started whistling.
“Looking HOT!” Jen laughed along.
“Thank you, Thank you,” Zac bowed.
“The limo is h-“ Mr. Hanson stopped before he could finish his sentence and gazed at his children and their friends. Tears started to well up in his eyes and a hard knot formed in his throat.
“Dad, are you okay?” Taylor asked.
Mr. Hanson took a deep breath, “Yes, it’s just that you all look so grown up.”
“That sounds like something Mom would say,” Zac said.
“Speaking of your mother!” Mr. Hanson exclaimed.
“Did she have the baby?!” Taylor asked excited.
“No, not yet- but when the baby is born her, the kids, and your cousins will be here!” Mr. Hanson said.
“Here? Where is here?” Ike asked. He knew his cousins would mean Josh and Josh and him weren’t too fond of each other.
“On tour! It’s the least we can do because your aunt is helping your mother out so much with her pregnancy,” Mr. Hanson tried to explain.
Taylor groaned.
“Cool!” Zac said.
Zac was the only one that really liked Josh- but the ALBERTANE tour would bring together the whole Hanson family soon enough.
Then the limo honked it’s horn.
“Your ride awaits,” Mr. Hanson smiled opening the glass doors out of the hotel.
“Thank you Maxwell,” Zac nodded in an English accent.
“Wicked, Wicked child,” Mr. Walker laughed.
“May I?” Taylor said holding out a hand to Jen.
“Certainly,” Jen smiled taking his hand.
