Andy Gibb: Book of Memories
How about a way to show the Bee Gees that Andy's memory is alive and well with
his many fans? That is where the idea of the Book of Memories comes from.
This book would be created and given to the Brothers Gibb and it would be from
you the fans.
The book will contain many things from you the fans. First, please send us your
poetry you have written for Andy. Be sure you sign your name so you will be
given credit for it. Secondly, if you have loving memories of Andy that you
would love to share with the
Brothers, please write them down. Even if you think they are small or
unimportant, they won't be for the Bee Gees. And thirdly, for those of you who
love to sketch, we will be holding a contest. Send us a 5 x 7 drawing of Andy.
The First Place winner will have
their drawing and credits placed on the front of the book. The 2nd and 3rd place
winners will have their drawing placed in the book with full credit.
I will be printing in color all the Andy poem's that are posted on Poetry Page
of the For The Love of the Bee Gees site and also those posted on the Andy Gibb:Shadow
Dancer site.
So please sit down and write out a poem or a loving memory of Andy. And for you
artists, please take the time to share your love and talent with your Andy
sketches. Let's make this a joint effort to show the Gibbs how much Andy is
still loved and missed.

HOME TO ELLAN VANNIN CD DETAILS
Bernie Quayle recorded a series of interviews with the brothers in Miami in
December 1997, resulting in a two hour radio documentary called "The
Bee Gees Come Home to Ellan Vannin" This is about 75% chat, 25% music and
it even includes conversations with their mother. This was broadcast on
Christmas day 1997. He then produced a follow-up which contained material not
used in the original and was broadcast on Easter Monday. The follow-up was one
hour on the radio but with all the news and commercials taken out it is now
about 43 minutes..
