Christmas/New Year Lunch

Synopsis
The table was too long! And I was sitting at one edge, so I didn't get to hear a lot of stuffs. Sob sob. Didn't really get to talk much to the rest, because I was too busy eating and taking food. Hehe. =p
The Long Version
I don't think they enjoyed it very much, but it's ok. A lunch is a lunch. Frankly speaking, I think they'd enjoy it more if it was a normal outing. But at least we did something different for a change.
The Place
Shangri-La is Shangri-La. What can I say about it? I love the place. =)
The Weather
Not bad I think? Haha. I don't think it rained, but it did later when we went over to Thiam's house to lepak, where we ended up playing Gimrami (how do you spell that??) and Chor Dai Dee.
The People
In a way, it was weird having my aunt, mum, and friends eating lunch together. Hahah. But I'm glad my aunt & mum were there, I love listening to them talking hehe.
The Event
It was nice, but I don't think we'll be doing this again in the near future. Not in Shang, anyway. =p
Little Stuffs
Whether or not you thought this was a good or bad idea, I just want to say that this was not my idea, and the only reason I went through the trouble of organising it is because I had the impression that a good friend or two was/were keen on it. So now that I've gotten it over and done with, I hope that you guys had fun and if not, it's ok anyway.
Sook Teng and Rachel must have ESP or something, because they both wore the same coloured top and skirt. Haha. =p
So shy lah, when I went to the Chinese section, I was having trouble taking the noodles, until one of the chefs had to help me take it. Heheh. Then later, Chef Sam recognised me and went, "Miss Tay! Is it your birthday today?" in Cantonese. And I was like, "Er, no" in Cantonese. Hehe. Shy wei. But his PR is damn good. Sent us 2 plates of scallops. =)
Went to Thiam's house after lunch for a few hours. Hung out, played some card games, watched 'Tell Me' by P. Diddy and Christina Aguilera, and she's looking mighty fine (for the first half of the video, anyway). So glad to see her without all that permed hair and thick, bright makeup.
Parked in Thiam's house, and I had trouble driving out of his porch. Haha. Didn't want to langgar his dad's car, nearly langgared his gate, and I had to get Thiam and his dad to tell me when to stop and how to turn. Hahaha. Crappy wei. Shyness. =p
Car rides are the best time to dig for gossip. Hehe.
