Geri Halliwell claims that she is seriously considering to adopt a child, If she won't find a man. In an interview she gave to BBC's Radio 2 she said she can't wait to be a mother.

"I  really, really really want to have a baby", she said. "A child seems like the best gift in the universe".

According to her, people can learn from children what is being unselfish. 

"I really would like to see my baby running up the street, In a Batman custom - All free with a huge smile on his face".

In the end of the interview by DJ Steve_Wright, She announced : "If i wont find a man - I'll adopt".

Her ex-bandmate, Victoria Beckham, named her second child Romeo. When Geri was asked which Shakespeare style name she would choose for her son she replied,

"Hemlet". She added, "It doesnt matter how you'll call your child - They just grow into their own names".

Mel B has been reunited with ex-lover Max Beesley.

Scary jetted into Hollywood and straight into the arms of her former flame.

Max met her at the airport and as he scooped up and hugged her four-year-old daughter Phoenix Chi, the trio looked like any happy family on  holliday.

Max-living in LA in a bid to kickstart a Hollywood movie career- greeted Scary with a hug and a kiss.

Mel , who split with Max in April after two years together, told Bizarre:"I'm here for a holiday, thanks for asking."

But when asked about Max, she turned her head with a wicked grin.
The trio then sped off in Max's Volvo for a Mexican meal at Baja Cantina in nearby Marina Del Rey.

Max later played with Phoenix as they waited for his car to be returned by the valet parkers.

Mel has been dating James Howarth, a manager for the PR firm Darling Department.

My opinion: Don't think it's true. Melanie already said that she and max are close friends now and not anymore lovers, in her book she said that he is working in Hollywood and i wonder will she stay alone if she went there too ? There's no body better than friends to spend the hollidays with ;)

Spice Girls deny Greatest Hits 
The Spice Girls have denied reports that they are working on two new songs for a Greatest Hits compilation without Geri Halliwell. 

Scary Spice Mel B is said to have called on the other band members to collaborate for the album but Geri has not been invited to join in the recordings, according to Australian website, soundbuzz. But their label, Virgin, denied today to worldpop that there were any such plans.

Geri, who is currently a judge on Pop Idol: The Rivals, walked out on the band in May 1998 and is believed to have vowed never to work with the group again

The four remaining members are rumoured to be working on the songs and they will allegedly record their vocals separately to allow them to manage their busy schedules. But a spokeswoman for the band said that the reports were completely untrue.

If the album was ever released it would be their first since their lukewarm album, Forever, which suffered disappointing sales and was beaten to No 1 when it was released, by Westlife.

The Spice Girls sold more than 30m records and their first six singles went straight to No 1 in the UK charts. The girl group once had merchandise deals with Polaroid, Impulse, Walkers Crisps and Cadbury's chocolate. Several sets of Spice dolls were produced and fans could buy everything from Spice bicycles to Spice handkerchiefs. 
But with the girls taking on solo projects on top of their duties, the band became less of a priority. 

Spice Reunion Denied
Mel B's agent Sandra Casali denied all the rumours about the spice reunion published in the british tabloids 2 days ago.

Melanie had no plans to reunite the Spice Girls just yet.

Her trip to LA last Monday was simply to have a break with her 3-years-old daughter Phoenix Chi and attend a few meetings for film and TV work. And reuniting the band doesn't seem top of her priorities at the moment.

It is doubtful that Melanie will meet Sporty Spice, who is also in the US working on her 2nd solo album . 

Mel B's break in the US comes after months of filming BBC Choice drama "Burn It", acting on stage for The Vagina Monologues and signing endless amounts of her autobiography up and down the country.

The reunion was also denied by Victoria's Official website's Moderator.

Scary, whose solo singing career has bombed, flew to the US on Monday to talk to Mel C about reviving the fab five. 

Yes. five — Mel wants former band member Geri Halliwell back on board and insists the Spice Girls are not finished. 

After her final night in West End play The Vagina Monologues on Saturday, she told pals: “I’m off to America to see Mel C. The band are still together.” 

A friend tells me: “Mel B is going to visit Mel C to get plans started for a comeback. 

“Mel C is about to start promoting her second album and Mel is scared Sporty won’t want to come back to the band once her solo work gets in gear.” 

The pal added: “Both Posh and Sporty have said that the band is finished, but Mel B wants one last go. 

“Her acting career may be taking off but the music is where her heart is — and she has nothing left in that area.” 

Mel B plays a nurse in new BBC drama Burn It, which will hit screens next year. 

Mel C and Geri are the only Spice Girls with solo record deals after Virgin dropped Emma, Victoria and Mel B. 

An insider tells me that Mel B wants to set up massive live dates for the band as well as a new record — and she wants Popstars: The Rivals judge Geri involved. 

My source said: “It’s all very ironic. Mel was the one who originally engineered the band’s split to go solo, but she has had some financial worries recently. 

“Now she wants Geri to get back for some live dates. 

“It seems to hinge on whether Mel C’s solo career can work. 

“A Spice Girls stadium tour of the world would be a must for fans and it would be very lucrative for the girls, who have yet to really set the world alight outside the group.” 

In March, Mel B was forced to sell her £3.5million mansion because she was broke. Once reckoned to be worth £20million, her outrageous spending has left her struggling. 

Her bitter split with ex-husband JIMMY GULZAR cost £750,000. 

The Spice Girls were, or should that be are, the biggest girl band ever. 

They sold more than 30million records and were the first group to have their first six singles go straight in at No1 in the UK charts. 

In most cases, their solo careers did not enjoy the same level of success .

My Opinion: I don't know what to say , this gossip is already on all the radios all over the world , also on dotmusic and bbc's website. It was also said on Liquid News in the UK and the Spice Girls are on the front page of the Britsh tabloid 'The Sun' ( pic below) , but this rumour is based from the Sun which is famous by publishing rumours on the girls just for money and to sell as much as possible copies. I won't believe anything until an official statement from the girls. I can't really imagine Geri in the group again , but NEVER SAY NEVER!

Victoria to snap up £1m
POSH SPICE is set to sign a £1million deal for a glossy book of photos. 

She is keen to work with Dean Freeman, the photographer behind hubby David’s book Beckham: My World. Insiders say it could include the first official photos of baby Romeo. 

One said: “It will be carefully timed to coincide with her pop career. Dean is doing it because he has done a lot of work with the Beckhams. The pictures will be very classy and tastefully shot.” 

The book is due out next year, around the same time as David’s autobiography. 
 

Before the birth of her second child Romeo three weeks ago the ex-Spice Girl was so reluctant to venture out that she instructed her midwife to visit her at home rather than go to the exclusive Portland Hospital where Romeo was born. Andsince the birth, the former pop star has not been seen in public once.

A friend of Victoria and her soccer ace husband David explains, "Victoria is just not going out at the moment. She's fed-up with being criticised and just wants to concentrate on being with Romeo and Brooklyn and doing everyday things around the house."

There's something different about Mel B that hits you as soon as she arrives. She doesn't shout or jump about as she used to. She's calmer, softer, more serious- and there's not even a hint of leopard skin or cleavage on display. 
She smiles: 'I've changed, I'm 27 now and I'm finally growing up.

'I know I used to be irritating. Speak first, think later. That was me. I always made out that everything was one big joke.

'It wasn't how I really felt. I'd go to bed at night worrying about the people I'd upset, but I never knew what to say to make things better.

'Over the past few years, I've learned a lot about myself. I've had a few ups and downs, but I feel so much better about myself now. I'm a far happier person than I was five years ago.'

It's an understatement to say that Mel had been through a few ups and downs. This is a girl from a Leeds council estate who became one of the bext-known five women on the planet as one of the Spice Girls. Overnight, she became a world-famous multi-millionair. Then her best friend Geri Halliwell quit, sparking a massive feud that had yet to be resolved.

Mel fell pregnant and , after a whirlwind romance, married dancer Jimmy Gulzar. Within less than a year, the couple split. She accused him of spending all her cash and he accused her of cheating on him with his friend Max Beesley, who was her lover until eight months ago. She and Gulzar are still locked in a custody battle over their three-year-old daughter Phoenix Chi.

Although the Spice Girls are on permanent hold, Mel insists:
'Emma[Bunton] and I are still convinced that we'll all get back together one day. But there aren't any definite plans.'

A year ago, Mel's career appeared to have stalled. Her TV show This Is My Moment was axed and her solo music career was put on ice. Rumours abound that she's being forced to sell her stunniong, 16th-century Buckinghamshire mansion.
She throws her hands in the air:'Not true. Not true. People keep saying I'm selling up but that's absolute rubbish.

'I love that house. It's my home and it's Phoenix's home. We're not moving. When I leave that house , it'll be in a box and even after that it'll belong to Phoenix. I want the house to remain in my family forever.'

This month, in an attempt to set the record straight about her life, Mel has published the diaries she's kept since the age of 14 in her autobiography Catch A Fire. She's opened her heart  about everything from her depression as a teenager( she tried to commit suicide when she was just 13) and her feelings towards Geri, to the breakdown of her marriage and the joy she felt when she became a mother. Nothing , however painful, is left out. Mel hopes that one day her daughter will read the book to understand just where she came from. 
'Phoenix will read it when she's old enough. Some people may think they'd like to protect their children, but I believe you have to be as truthful as possible.

'Yes, it's hard to realise that your parents have gone through a horrible battle, but what's most important for Pheonix to know is that I was totally in love with her dad and so happy when she was conceived.

'Whatever happened after didn't affect the way her mum or dad felt towards her. We both love her and she's still a piece of us.

'Phoenix is the best thing that's ever happened to me. She's the absolute centre of my life. I'd never do anything if I thought it would hurt her in any way.'

Mel claims that the happiest years of her life are right now- not when she was at the height of her fame as a Spice Girl.'I think I've moved on.We all have.'
She keeps in regular contact with Mel C ('I'm seeing her in LA next week') and Emma Bunton ('Pheonix loves Emma. She's always at our house') and occasionally sees Victoria ('She's so busy, she's the hardest to pin down, but she did text me recently after she'd read my book. She said some bits made her cry with laughter').

Geri, though, remains a stranger. Ironically, Geri's book Just For The Record is being Published at the same time as Mel's book, which makes them revals once more. Mel's look serious.'You know, Geri was one of the greatest friends I ever had. We just clicked when we met. We were both these mouthy, ambitious girls from the same sort of background.

'We had real fun together.We were wild and we were really tight. We spent Christmases together, just the two of us on cheap package holidays, celebrating on the beach with cans of lager.

'I was one of the first people she talked to about her eating disorders. I tried to help her.' She pauses.'We don't really speak now, but that doesn't negate the relationship she had at the time. She sent me a nice letter a few months back. She even wished me good luck with the book.'

Mel claims the Spice Girl she feels most guilty about is Mel C.
'I used to be so foul to her,' she says.'She was always really lovely to me, but I'd bite her head off at the slightest thing.She'd do these sweet things like buy me flowers or make me a lovely meal. I'd feel really bad about my behaviour, but I never knew how to apologise.

'I wrote all this down a few months ago and sent it to her. She told me she cried her eyes out when she read it. She's such a lovely person and a true friend. I've got so much respect to her.'

Mel's now dating PR guru James Howarth, but she slaims she almost gave up on men after splitting from actor Max Beedley earlier this year.
'It was vvery painful when Max and I split up,' she says.
'We both had these issues that we just couldn't resolve, I'd pretty much given up on men. I had this little black book with various numbers in it. If I felt in the mood, I'd call someone. But I decided a while back to get rif of it. I shredded it.

'I'm just not into that anymore. I've had all my one-night stands. I still love a night of great sex, like any girl, but it's just not that important now.

'Every moment I'm not working, I like to be with Phoenix. By the time I've put her to bed, I'm ready to sleep myself. She's changed all my priorities and I'm a happier person for it.

'I wasn't looking when James came along, but what made him stand out was that he took me and Phoenix as a package. Our first date was at Legoland and he loves being with her, which is brilliant.'

Mel had remained on good terms with Max. After being asked to perform in The Vagina Monologues, she was spotted by a production company and asked to appear in TV drama Burn it alongside Lisa Faulkner. The company was so impressed that they've extended her role.

She says:' I love it. It came out of the blue, but I enjoyed acting.
I speak to Max quit a bit and he's given me some very good tips which is brilliant. Max is a great guy and I'm really happy that we've remained friends.'

The future looks bright for Mel. The industry buzz about her acting ability is such that she's set to Los Angeles to discuss projects with an agent. Other work is in the offing.

'Life's good right now,' she says,'I'm loving work, I'm happy with my man and I feel really positive. But whatever happens,' she says it with a smile,' I know I'm sorted forever because, even if everything went wrong, I've got Phoenix and That's all that matters to me now. The greatest thing I've done isn't to be famous or a Spice Girl or anything like that- it's to be a mum.'

Geri dumped her Boyfriend!

GERI Halliwell has dumped her millionaire boyfriend Demian Walker, the News of the World can reveal. 

The Popstars beauty, famously unlucky in love, called a halt to the relationship because her commitment to work was wrecking their romance. 

The 27-year-old American has returned to Los Angeles "indefinitely." 

The couple have only spoken on the phone since. Last weekend she was seen wandering unhappily in West London, crouching in a doorway to make a call. 

A fan who saw her said: "You see her smiling and chirpy on TV, but she clearly had a lot on her mind. It was an ordinary road and she just looked very unhappy." 

A close pal said: "Geri was the happiest most of us have ever seen her most of the time she was with Demian. 

"But then the rows started and things went from bad to worse almost over night. 

Former Spice Girl Geri met Demian in an LA pet shop. They were later seen together at an Arizona rehab clinic specialising in bulimia problems. 

She told the News of the World just last month: "I appreciate that, for Demian, there's an awful lot of baggage to take on board and it requires a huge amount of tolerance. Only time will tell how he copes with my fame." 

Her pal said: "It was harder than he ever thought. She deserves a good man so much."

Geri launches her second autobiography
Hundreds of fans have turned out to see Geri Halliwell promote her second autobiography.

Her book, which is said to tell "the honest and heartfelt story of her life over the last four years since the break-up of the Spice Girls", follows her first autobiography If Only, which has so far sold 455,000 copies.

The singer signed copies of her book 'Just For The Record' and posed for pictures with fans at the Trafford Centre, Manchester.

Around 500 fans, some of whom were queuing since 7am, and others who were practising their Spice Girls dance routines, shouted: "Geri we love you" as they waited their turn to meet her.

Geri said: "The last four years have been a rollercoaster ride and a lot has happened to me. I wanted to write about the anecdotes, behind-the-scenes stories and my own feelings about things as they took place."

Fan Jody Margerison, 20, of Rochdale, who was the first person in the queue at 7am and has been a fan since the Spice Girls' first single Wannabe was released in 1996, said her 10-hour wait to see Geri would be well worth it.

"She is the best out of all them. She always has been the power and drive behind the whole group and that is why they did not do as well when she went."

Jody added: "She is the original girl power. She should be the Queen of England."

Judge Geri Admits: 'I'm A Flopstar' 
Popstar Geri Halliwell has confessed she cannot sing well enough to make the band on Popstars: The Rivals - even though she is a judge on the ITV1 talent show.

The former Spice Girl admitted on the Frank Skinner Show that her voice was not nearly as good as many of the hopefuls she auditions.

The chat show host asked her: "If you were on as a contestant, would you make the girl band?"

And Geri immediately answered "No".

But then after a pause she added: "I really don't know."

When pushed by Skinner, the singer explained: "Under those circumstances, we are asking a hell of a lot.

"I can sing but we are picking the cream of the crop."

The singer missed out on being modelled as part of the Spice Girls after
leaving the group in 1998.

Diane Moon, of Madame Tussaud's, believes Halliwell will attract plenty of
visitors. She said: "Geri is everywhere at the moment, she is just so hot.
We have had a lot of people asking after her."

Moon says visitors to the museum in central London had been requesting a
model of Halliwell since she reappeared on the pop scene with the Bridget
Jones film soundtrack.

She said: "The time we asked Geri was when she made a comeback with Raining
Men and appeared looking all thin and gorgeous."

She added: "It would have looked vastly different if we had modelled it when
she was a Spice Girl."

Tussaud's sculptors measured the 30-year-old singer last year but the figure
is not only a different shape from Halliwell in her Spice Girl days - it
also lacks her tattoos.

The model was completed with tattoos but when Halliwell recently decided to
have them removed Tussaud's quickly painted them out.

Halliwell chose a sexy black Donna Karan dress to show off her new waxwork
figure. It will appear in a new Karaoke attraction where visitors will have
the opportunity to perform in front of the Halliwell model and hear a
recorded response from the figure.

Spice Girl Mel B is heading to Hollywood to revive her showbiz career, but in films rather than in music. UK's Skynews reported that the Spice Girl said she wanted to "reinvent" herself as a serious actress. Her pop career is on hold as she puts her energy into exploring new roles. 

"I'm going to LA to meet some producers about roles they've got in mind for me," she said, speaking to the Daily Star. "I've been sent loads of scripts and I'm trying to find the best one." "I want to stay true to my roots and do a British film first but I look forward to America."

The Real reason for the becks to choose the name 'Romeo'!( thx BrooklynK )
The reason for the Beckham's decision to name their newborn son Romeo may have been revealed.

David and Victoria are believed to have chosen the name for their second son after holidaying in Italy.

The celebrity couple reportedly came up with the name during a romantic break in the north-eastern town of Verona, the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

The holiday was in May last year when the singer and the England captain were starting to think about having a brother for son Brooklyn.

Romeo or Juliet

A source close to the pair told the Sunday Mirror: "They just both fell in love with Verona instantly.

"They decided that depending on whether their second child was a son or a daughter it would be called Romeo or Juliet." 

Speculation has surrounded the name and its origin since Victoria gave birth on September 1.

Emma Bunton Join Mel B in 'Catch A Fire' signing in London
Baby spice, emma bunton , joined her band mate Mel B at the signing of her autobiography Catch A Fire in London yesterday . Emma surprised the 100  fans who turned for the signing in london  , and came to say hello for melanie . Emma ,  with the company of her mother pauline , took melanie for  little chat behind the stage for few minutes. Emma didn't make any signing and didn't take any picture with the fans .

Mel B has rejected the chance to be on Celebrity Big Brother.

C4 bosses were desperate to get her but Mel wants to concentrate on serious roles in West End play The Vagina Monologues and BBC drama Burn It.

The reality programme could have raised her status but a spokesman for her said: “Mel was approached but she turned it down.”

Victoria Beckham has given birth to a baby boy - Romeo.

A beaming Becks broke the news to the awaiting press corps outside Portland Hospital in London.

"It's always nervous having a child but it's the most beautiful thing in the world," David said.

Romeo weighed in at 7lb 4oz - and the proud dad, decked out in white shirt and hat, was there to see his second son born.

He looked overjoyed as he joked with reporters outside the hospital, a huge grin breaking out from ear to ear as he answered a barrage of questions.

Victoria well

"He looks like Brooklyn, he's got Brooklyn's nose and Victoria's chin," the England captain said.

"Brooklyn is just in awe of him."

He said the ex-Spice Girl was "sitting up in bed" with her family after having a Caesarian section at 10am.

The private hospital, near Regent's Park, was where Posh gave birth to Brooklyn three years ago.

'Loved the name'

Asked why the Beckhams' latest addition had been called Romeo, the star laughed and said: "It's just a name we love."

The name of the baby had been subject to speculation in the Press.

Brooklyn was named after he was conceived in the American city. Bets were being place that the second Beckham would be called Paris.

Strong midfield

A family spokesman said doctors ordered Posh to have a Caesarian. There had been rumours the couple had chosen a date for the birth to get around Becks' busy footballing schedule.

The new mum is expected to remain in hospital for several days.

David's parents' Ted and Sandra, Victoria's parents' Tony and Jackie, as well as Louise Adams, her boyfriend and young baby, were all at the hospital for the birth. Victoria arrived early on Sunday morning.

With two sons now in the family, the future Manchester United side could be shaping up to be as strong as the current one.
