Part One: Heartbreak
Layah's long, loosely curled ebony hair swayed violently as she walked, her violet eyes brimming with tears. She thought helplessly angry thoughts against her, now ex-boyfriend, Brian. "How could he DO this to me?!?" she muttered quietly, as her mind flashed back to a few moments ago. She had just come back from the concert the Boys had done in New York City's Radio City Music Hall, and had entered the hotel room that she and Brian shared, only to find that Brian had company - a beautiful, dark-blonde that was all over him. The only thing Layah could do was look and become furious with each passing second. The more she watched, the more she became hurt, angry and confused. Naturally, Brian denied the whole thing, but all she did was look him in the eye with a full, fake bravado and said it was over between them. Layah had said that out of shock, and ran out of the room as quick as she could, not stopping until she realized that she had walked into Central Park. Her pretty face was streaked with tears, as she continued to walk around. "I TRUSTED him! What made him think that I wouldn't find out?" Layah continued to mutter under her breath. Finally, after walking around for a few minutes, she found a bench that was under a lot of trees, despite the fact that it was quite dark at this time of night, and sat down, her pretty light blue and lavender, spaghetti-strapped summer dress showing off her long, tanned legs. She closed her eyes for a moment, wishing that she never found Brian in that state. The truth was, she missed him terribly, and regretted in saying that it was over. "God, just shoot me already, just get it over with!" Layah whispered into the summer's night air. It was a rather beautiful night in the Big Apple, which wasn't all that often. A light, cool breeze wisked by, making Layah shiver slightly. "Now why would God want to shoot a beautiful Angel such as yourself?" a voice spoke softly. Quickly, Layah opened her eyes and found AJ sitting there to her left side, clad in baggy black jeans, a red wife beater under a black un-buttoned down tee-shirt and black sneakers. His red sunglasses weren't necessary, but he had them on anyway. His silver cross necklace lay gently on his chest. "Oh, AJ, you scared me. I didn't know you were here too." Layah replied, now feeling slightly embarrassed for what she said. She really didn't want anyone to know what happened between her and Brian. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to eavesdrop. But why would you want to be shot?" AJ asked again, this time more gently. He liked Layah, a lot. In some ways, he was jealous of Brian for having such a beautiful lady. She was always sweet and kind, constantly going out of her way for others. Layah was definitely someone whom AJ wanted to meet and hook up with, but struck out many times, especially when it came to his ex-girlfriends. He wondered how Brian had gotten so lucky to find such a rare gem. Sighing, Layah started playing with the hem of her dress, a bad habit she had since she was a little girl. Her mother always scolded at her to stop, and at the time she listened, but always continued to do it anyway. "Brian...he, well, he's, um..." Layah started, feeling her heart break all over again. The picture of Brian in the arms of another woman came back to her as tears once again started falling down her face. AJ moved a little bit closer, putting his arms lightly around Layah's shoulder. "Its okay, you can tell me. I'm not going to say anything to anyone." AJ said, his sunglasses now off. His warm, mahogany eyes were filled with worry and concern, wondering what could have upset this beautiful little flower of a woman. Layah tried to control her tears so she could speak, as he turned and looked straight into AJ's eyes. She saw something there that she hadn't noticed before - a gentleness that was so sweet it was brought on by a sad'ned pain. "Brian...he has a new gir-gir-gir-" but she couldn't speak the word. It was too painful. "Brian? Our Brian? You mean he cheated on you?" AJ's voice filled with a tender surprise, rather quickly. A silent, inner anger clouded his mind. He would definitely have to kick Brian's ass for this one. Layah nodded, tears still streaming down her face. AJ's face set into a concerned look. "Its going to be okay. Don't worry, you're going to be okay, Layah." AJ replied, wrapping his arms around her, giving her a hug. Layah accepted, and hugged AJ back, holding onto him for a few minutes. But it was a dangerous move on Layah's part. AJ breathed in Layah's intoxicatingly sweet perfume, and with his mouth so close to her neck...it was temptation for him to take her right then. But he couldn't, he had to wait. He had to make sure it would be okay with Layah first before doing anything... Slowly, Layah let go of AJ and started wiping away her tears with her hands. AJ quickly grabbed his red handkerchief out if his back jeans pocket. The temptation now gone, he took her hands away from her face and with much softness, wiped her tears away using the incredibly soft material. A small smile grew on Layah's face. AJ smiled too, as a sign of encouragement. "That's a girl. Don't let Brian get you down. I'm sure you'll get things worked out soon." AJ replied, trying to be supportive of Layah. Truth was though, AJ secretly hoped that Brian and Layah WOULDN'T get back together, so he could finally have a chance...he had his eyes on her for a very long time... "Thanks, but I don't think I will. Not after what I saw." Layah said, her voice sad, quiet, thoughtful. She put her hand on AJ's knee, which made shivers run through his body, his heart beat faster, his blood pumping and his mind racing. "But I do appreciate the kind words...I just don't know what I've done wrong." she continued, turning her head in the direction of where she came from. By this point, Central Park's lamps were lit, and the park looked mystical from where she and AJ were sitting. "I mean 'em, Layah. I wouldn't say 'em otherwise. And ya haven't done anything wrong, luv." AJ shot back, with his old accent pulling through. Uh oh, this isn't a good sign, AJ thought. The last time I let me accent slip through, I ended up in love... At the change of his accent, Layah turned back to AJ. She looked at him questioningly, wondering what was going through his mind right now. She knew that AJ had been single for a while, as the thought of her and AJ tightly wrapped up together in each other's naked embrace while he pumped in and out of her body over and over shot through her mind... No! Layah thought. What the hell am I thinking? I can't be thinking such a thought...besides, Brian still loves me...at least I hope. What am I gonna do? Layah's thoughts were interrupted as she focused back on AJ, who was closer to her than he was before. His face was filled with worry and concern, but there was also a hidden sweetness there...his mahogany eyes burning deep into her violet ones as his mouth was wrapped in a perfect frown. "I'm-m-m sorry, AJ. I was thinking, what did you say?" She was bewitched by his eyes, those lethal weapons of seduction that wanted her more than she would ever know. Impulsively, she wanted him to take her in his arms and never let go. "Are you alright? You looked...alarmed for a minute there." he practically whispered, taking in her erotic beauty. Her violet eyes were shining from sadness, her nose petite and cute, and her mouth luscious and fully ripened, like a peach just waiting to be picked off a tree. The thought of Brian entered Layah's mind again, but she slowly shook it off. She nodded gently. "Yeah, I'm okay. I was just thinking-" Layah started but was interrupted by a voice. "Layah? Is that you?" the voice rang out and Layah immediately knew who it was. Her best friend since birth, Kelly. Layah searched around, until she saw two shadowy figures in the near distance. Slowly, Layah made out Kelly and her boyfriend, Kevin. "Yeah, its me, AJ's here too." She replied, as Kelly and Kevin walked up to them. "Hey Bone, hey Layah." Kevin replied, feeling slightly embarrassed on Brian's behalf. Although no one really wanted it to be true, Brian HAD cheated on Layah, a fact that Kevin was NOT proud of. "Hey Kev, hey Kel. What's going on?" AJ asked, doing the talking for Layah. He figured it was the gentlemanly thing to do. "Nothing, we found Brian in his hotel room without Layah. We figured we'd search for her." Kelly replied, looking at her obviously hurt friend. Layah sighed and turned away from everyone. How many people knew? It was going to be obvious to all the fans when they saw pictures of Brian and his new girlfriend and not her. "Its okay, I've been with her the whole time. We've been talking." AJ responded, hoping that it wasn't obvious to Kevin or Kelly about his feelings for Layah, although they already knew. Kevin and Kelly nodded in understanding. A sudden thought came to Layah at that moment. "Where am I gonna sleep? I mean, I'm not going back there into that room with Brian. I can't! I won't...I'm bound to break his neck." Layah thought aloud, as a dulled, chilled anger rose in her chest. Kelly immediately spoke up. "You can sleep with us, Lay. We've got room." she said, but got an ill look from Kevin. Despite what was happening between Brian and Layah, he knew that it was between them and no one, ESPECIALLY Kelly, should get involved. Besides, he had other plans for the night. "Its alright, I don't have anyone in my room staying with me. Layah, you can stay with me." AJ replied, so much hoping she'd take him up on his offer. Layah was silent for a moment. Her mind thought between the two offers. She figured that Kevin wanted to spend "quality time" with Kelly, and she felt bad for intruding on such privacy. "I'll stay with you, AJ. I don't want to be a bother for either one of you, Kev and Kel. But thank you for the offer." Layah replied politely. AJ broke out in all smiles. "Alright then, we can get going, its too dark out here now." AJ replied, as he and Layah got up. Slowly, the four of them walked back to the hotel, all wondering what was to happen next.Part Two: Discovery AJ protectively had his arm around Layah's waist as the group entered the lobby of the Plaza Hotel, as all eyes turned and stared. Many people in the hotel knew that Layah was Brian's girl, so something didn't seem right when AJ was there instead of Brian. Quickly and quietly, the group raced to the elevators, hoping no one would stop them for an autograph or to take a picture, which no one did. As the elevator was going up, Layah made the decision that she'd have to get her things and move them into AJ's room. After all, she knew that one of these days she'd have to face Brian, she couldn't avoid him all the time. But just at the thought of Brian being in the arms of another woman, tears built up in Layah's eyes. Sighing to herself, she thought the harsh pain in her chest would never end. AJ watched Layah closely, noticing that her eyes were brimming with tears once again. He badly wished that he could turn back time to where he found her at the cafe, all those years ago, and talked to her instead of letting Brian do it. It just wasn't fair! Brian had completely destroyed a beautiful relationship, and a beautiful young woman's heart. The elevator reached their floor and opened the door at that particular moment, and the group slowly filed out. Slowly, Layah turned and started walking in the opposite direction than everyone else was going. "Layah, our rooms are this way." Kevin called out, trying to be as gentle as possible. He figured that she must be on automatic pilot. Layah nodded her head. "I know." she replied. "I've changed my mind...I want to get my things. I don't care if he's in there with someone else or not, I need to my things." Kelly frowned. "Are you sure that's a good idea, Lay?" Kelly sure didn't think so. She knew what Layah was capable of, especially after she had earned her teaching degree in a hardcore self defense class, a black belt in Karate, and had been studying sword-fighting since she was little. "I'll try to not make a big scene, okay?" Layah half-smiled, knowing exactly what Kelly was referring to. "Okay, we'll see you guys in the morning. Common Kel." Kevin said, tugging on Kelly's arm lightly. He was starting to get a little impatient, not that anyone else besides Kelly needed to know. Kelly went along with Kevin in one direction, as AJ stood there, not really liking the idea of Layah getting her stuff by herself. "Want me to come with you?" he asked, being unusually quiet. Layah could tell that something was bothering him. He seemed so sad...he looked so lost. Something was definitely up with AJ. Yet the question remained: what was bothering him? "Sure, thats fine. Lets go." Layah replied, holding out her hand for him to take. AJ quickly caught up with Layah, grabbing her hand tenderly, and the two started walking, dreading what could happen before them. They were silent, but as they neared the room Brian and Layah were originally sharing, Layah's heart started slamming in her chest, drowning out any noise that was going on around her. Her breathing slightly increased, although AJ didn't seem to notice. Finally reaching the door, Layah pulled out the key and entered it into the hole, and the little light flashed green, allowing Layah to enter the room. The room itself was quiet, and dark. Slowly, Layah worked her way to the bathroom, and turned on the light, allowing her and AJ see a little bit. On the bed lay Brian and the mystery woman. Oddly enough, Layah remembered that the woman was about Brian's height, maybe an inch or two shorter than him - Layah had only seen her back - but had long, dark blonde hair. As Layah decided to shrug it off, a light came on. Brian had woken up, after hearing what was going on in the room - and to Layah's horror, she found Britney Spears in the same bed with Brian, waking up. Her mouth fell open. "...Britney? You cheated on with BRITNEY?!?" Layah practically screamed. Her heart jumped into her throat, as did AJ's. He came running from the bathroom, and found Brian and Britney in the same bed. Both Britney and Brian blushed. "It wasn't easy for anyone, you know." Brian said, watching Layah become livid. AJ was standing there in a simple shock. "But...Britney?" Layah's voice suddenly became small, quiet, calm...just like the calm before a storm. She didn't see THIS coming... Brian sighed as he looked over at AJ, who was still in shock, then to Britney and finally back to Layah. It wasn't the easiest thing that was going on, but it just FELT right to be with Britney in an intimate fashion. And Britney had felt the same way about Brian. He knew that he really hurt Layah, and knowing that practically killed him inside. It wasn't that he wasn't happy with Layah, because he had been, but Brian knew that he couldn't lie to himself any longer. He wanted Britney in the worst way, and he couldn't help himself. "I know this isn't easy for either one of you to see," Brian started. Yet something inside me, I don't know what, has told me that Britney's the one I want to be with." Britney looked at Brian while he spoke, hating to watch her lover go through this hard time. She also knew that it was difficult for Layah, watching her singing/acting/dancing rival's heartbreak right in front of the man that she had loved so dearly. "But AJ..." Britney thought. "The whole world knows he's cared for Layah for a long time. I don't know why or how he can stand watching Layah being this upset considering he's been following her since God knows when, but now can have his dumbass chance..." "...When did you start realizing your feelings for her?" Layah responded, her tone still quiet, withdrawn, strained. Layah couldn't bring herself to say Britney's name...her heart had gone back to slamming in her chest with an ache that almost made it hard to breathe, as her eyes grew red with tears. She just merely looked at Brian with misery. "It was...about 2 months ago. It was before the tour started, and I had become...curious. I went to Britney's house one night to talk to her about it and...well, we did a little more than just talk. It was at that point, I guess, that I didn't want to be with anyone else but her-" "NO!" Layah covered her ears, having heard enough from Brian. Brian immediately quieted down. No one said anything for a minute, and as tears violently streamed down Layah's face, she took her hands off of her ears, shaking, and gave Brian a look of death. "YOU LIED TO ME, YOU SON OF A BITCH! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!? YOU SAID WE'D BE TOGETHER FOREVER! I LOVED YOU! YOU MOTHER FUCKING ASSHOLE, I HATE YOU!" she exploded, her face a deep scarlet from her anger. Quickly, she went to slug Brian for being disloyal, but AJ - who came out of his shock a few minutes before - grabbed her before she could hurt Brian, holding her back as she continued to cry. Her body suddenly went limp, sobbing from all the feelings she had been holding inside. She didn't have the strength to get out of the lock AJ had her in, even though normally she could have easily gotten out of it if she wanted to. Britney, who had crawled out of bed to protect her lover, started walking towards Layah, but stopped when Layah tried to kick her in the face. Britney backed away fast. AJ looked at his two friends, remembering back when Brian had first confided in him about this whole situation. Although he didn't like it, he had kept his mouth shut because Brian had asked him to. He had wanted to explain to Layah what was going on, but she had been so...happy when she was around Brian. A certain peace had been easily felt when she was around him. Now, that peace was gone, and only anger and pain could fill the void that peace had once held in its place. "I'm going to get her out of here. I'll be back in a few minutes. When I come back, have everything of Layah's packed - I'll be here to pick it up." AJ's voice was rough, hard, cold. He knew the shit had hit the fan, especially now that everything was in the open. In one sense, he was happy that Brian and Britney were happy together, but counteracting that happiness was his anger at Brian for hurting Layah. A soft sigh came from Layah, she was now having a hard time standing up. AJ picked her up, carried her to the door, and left, with Britney and Brian wondering what was going to happen next.Part Three: Kiss The GirlBy the time AJ got Layah back to his room, she had enough strength to walk - and violently curse out Brian and Britney. AJ pulled out his key and placed it into the key slot as he remembered his room was left a mess. "You're gonna have to watch out for the mess, I didn't-" he said. "Its okay, you didn't have time to clean up, I understand...unlike that little hoochie-mama slut! She took him away from me, that God-damned bitchy ho...and HE'S a sucker to fall for such fake shit! I fucking hate the both of them...damn them both to fucking Hell!" Layah interrupted, as she and AJ walked into his room and turned the lights on. Actually, the room wasn't as bad as AJ thought, but he still started cleaning up a little bit, making room for Layah's things when he brought them back. Thoughts of actually having her in his room excited him, knowing that he could have the chance to watch her all night long, just like he had done once long ago... AJ's body slightly trembled at the thought, and he smiled to himself as Layah sat down on the cleaner bed. She was still somewhat going off about "the Happy couple", as she had lovingly christened them, but saw AJ's body quiver. She stopped and got up off the bed. "You okay, Alex?" she asked, her thoughts once again going back to what was on HIS mind. AJ's back was facing her, and he turned around with small smile. Chills went down his spine as he heard her call him by his real name. He quickly imagined Layah screaming his real name out as she violently came...his manhood grew quickly. His smile stayed on his face. "Say my name again." AJ replied, with a gleam of such love and lust in his eyes. Something inside Layah told her to say his name again. "Alex..." Layah trailed off, as AJ stepped closer, until he was so close he could touch her. He had been making a secret decision ever since he had offered her to sleep in his room. Now was the moment, to kiss or not to kiss? That was the question that had gone unanswered for so long... "You look so sweet, so tempting, so...beautiful. T'just be in yer arms once would give me all the happiness in the world...oh Layah, precious lass, do ya know how much ya truly mean t'me?" AJ thought, thinking in his original Irish accent. He had traveled MANY years and in many lands to find someone that would be his companion, and here she was - standing right before his eyes. Strong, sensitive, sexy, funny, kind, caring, sweet, frisky, playful, a good listener, intelligent...the list could go on for miles. But the best part was, he had FOUND her, at last! At first, back when she was only 16, it was hard to believe that she was real. She was doll like, not fully yet changed into what she was currently, and somewhat shy. She had changed in the time he had known her, after Brian discovered where AJ was and found Layah sitting there. At an instant, each man lost his heart to a young girl they didn't even know...later on the problem of age came around. Layah was only 16 then, while AJ was 20 and Brian was 23. It was as if a Higher Power was playing a cruel and sick joke on the two men, but when the time came, Brian had gotten to her heart first as age didn't matter anymore... Three years later, AJ and Layah stood facing each other, their lips just barely touching. AJ's aching grew to the point of unbearability. He was SO close! His eyes had dived deep into hers, his mahogany ones gently caressing her violet ones, and visa versa. Something at that moment took over Layah, a hidden power, an urge, a sense of desire had awoken from inside...her mind was racing. The "dirty" thoughts of she and AJ making love flashed through her mind again, but this time, she didn't shut them out. There was something in his lethal weapons of seduction that made her YEARN for it...making her want him in between her legs so badly that she'd kill for it. "Touch me, Alex...touch me..." Layah mumbled as their lips embraced, his mouth just as sweet as hers. Both open, Layah and AJ invaded each other's mouth with their tongues, stroking, and caressing the other. As if it were a fire, passion grew within them as the kiss continued, AJ's arms wrapping around Layah's waist and Layah's arms wrapping aroung AJ's neck. Just as soon as the kiss became deeper, there was a thud at the door, following a voice. As if they were going to be discovered, AJ and Layah pulled away, both kinda shaky of what just happened. They both stood there, while the banging and the laughter continued. Finally, AJ went and reached the door. Outside in the hallway, he found Kevin and Kelly standing there. "Uh..." AJ said, not knowing what to do for a minute. He wondered if Kevin and Kelly knew... "We can come in, right butthead?" Kelly affectionately asked, thinking that AJ must have been smoking something in order for him to be off guard. The only question remained was...what was it? Jumping awake, AJ nodded and opened the door more, letting his friends come in. Layah was now sitting on the bed, she looked away, like she was ashamed for what she had done with AJ. Brian had cheated on her - with Britney, no less - but here she was, sexually out of control with AJ. Her thoughts came back to the kiss. It had been...delicious. AJ's mouth had been like a sweetened fruit, filled with sweet nectar that was ready to make the taster give into ecstacy. "Maybe after Kev and Kel leave, AJ and I can-" Layah thought, but was interrupted. "Can't you have sex in your own room?" It was AJ that said that, after Kevin and Kelly had started getting all touchy-feely in front of Layah and AJ. Kevin and Kelly laughed. "Where's your sense of humor, Bone? After all, you're suppose to be the 'exciting' one of the group!" Kevin replied, still laughing. Kelly looked disgusted. "I wouldn't want to see that happen! Sorry, but the only one I'd like to see that way is you, Kev. No one else." Kelly replied, looking at her man with a hidden longing. Quietly, AJ looked at his watch, remembering he had to pick up Layah's things. "Hey guys, I'll be right back, I just remembered I have to go get Layah's things." AJ said, taking a quick glance at Layah, giving her wink. Layah smiled. Neither Kevin nor Kelly saw it, which was a good thing since chills went down Layah's spine, thinking about to the kiss once again. AJ left a minute later, as all eyes turned on Layah. Kelly studied Layah for a moment, wondering what was going through her mind. "You okay, Lay?" she asked, seeing that her friend needed her right now. It pissed her off to no end that her boyfriend's cousin couldn't keep his dick to himself, but Brian was now - seemingly - happier. If THAT'S the case, then he should be happy. But not when Layah's feelings were at stake. Layah slowly turned her full attention to Kevin and Kelly, her mind slowly coming out of the daze of the kiss. What was it that made her blood burn when AJ was so close to her? And what made Brian want to be with someone else, instead of her? She had done so much for him, and it was a sour way of a "thank you" from Brian. She was completely torn, and there was no way out of it. Clearly heartbroken over the loss of the love of her life, but strangely sensually yearning and passionately burning for her best guy friend at the same time. What the hell had gotten into her? In her own confusion, Layah nodded, wondering if Kelly or Kevin could see her feelings written all over her face. "You know, I didn't want to say anything before - because you and Brian were so happy together - but I think you and AJ would make a great couple." Kelly replied, speaking slowly. Kevin looked at his girlfriend as if she'd gone mad. Layah remained in her state of confusion. "Kelly!" Kevin scolded, giving her a look. His blue-green eyes went straight into Kelly's chocolate brown ones. He knew that Kelly was only trying to help, but THAT kind of comment wasn't really necessary. Kelly only shrugged. "What?! I'm just saying. I didn't mean anything by it. And Layah knows that." Kelly replied, standing up for herself. Her glance turned back to Layah, whom at this point was staring out the window. Kelly got up and walked over to her friend. "Hey, you know that we're here for you. We're not going anywhere." she said, hugging Layah from behind. Layah's mouth twisted into a small smile, turning around and looking up at her 5'10 inched friend. "You really think AJ and I would make a great couple?" Layah asked, playing along with Kelly's comment. A twinkle moved in Layah's eye, and Kelly caught on. "Excuse me Layah? WHAT did you just say?" Kevin shot out, coming up quickly behind Kelly. He thought he definitely needed his hearing checked. She and Brian JUST broke up - unless Layah was unhappy with the relationship, how could she even think of another man? Something didn't make sense...it was all...off. "Yeah, why not? You two would be great together." Kelly replied, smiling. Yeah, things would definitely look up for Layah. She just had to focus her energies on something and someone else, like AJ. The idea appeared to Layah. Sure, why not? After all, did she or did she not share something with AJ? It would have been only a matter of time before they would probably share something like that again. Then again...Layah needed a break from men. She had been with Brian since she was 16 - it was time to learn what SHE wanted, not what she AND Brian wanted. The time had come to be free. Layah gave a half smile to her friends, only to turn it into a half frown and deep thoughts of let down, with the recent reality of truth. "As nice as it would be, Kel, I don't think so. I just...I need time to get over what's just happened. I mean, with Brian and that hoochie-mama..." Layah trailed off, giving into a sigh. All she wanted to was to be happy, and that was what she felt with Brian, but it was only to turn out that he WASN'T happy with her. Why had Life played such a horrible joke? Kelly gave Layah another hug. "I know, I'm just playin' with ya. Besides, seein' you and AJ AFTER seein' you and Brian for all those years..." Kelly trailed off, falling into a slight shudder, showing that she would be "disgusted" with the idea. At this, Kevin laughed, and Layah's smile grew back. Suddenly, there was the sound of the door opening and AJ coming into the room with Layah's suitcases. Kevin quickly ran over to help his friend, grabbing one of the suitcases, only to have it weigh his arm down. "Jesus! What do you have in here, Lay?" he asked, wondering what was in there. Straight faced, Layah replied. "My entire collection of dildos - every size and color you'll ever want and need." She tried hard to stay serious as Kelly doubled over in hysterical laughter, Kevin dropping the suitcase immediately in uncertainty and disgust, and AJ grinning from ear-to-ear while chuckling quietly as he set the other suitcase down. Layah slowly dissolved into girlish giggles, and AJ watched her with a hard-to-hide, fierce passion, listening to the Golden-sounding bubblish laughter. It made AJ giddy to hear such innocence, wanting to touch it and taste it so bad that if he wanted to, he'd kill for it. His thoughts ran back to the kiss they'd shared earlier, and once again, he began to ache for another. How he wanted her! But he knew that he'd have to wait, only to have time mend her broken heart. If he could only have just ONE more kiss, he'd be able to live the rest of Eternity as a happy man... A knock was at the door. By this point, the laughter subsided a little, as Kevin answered the door. It was Nick, running into the room. "Yo Dawg! Did you see who Brian's-" he started off, when he realized that Layah was in the room. Nick stopped, and became quiet. AJ smiled a little. "Its alright, Nick, we all know already." AJ walked to Layah and wrapped his right arm around her shoulder for a quick moment. Layah's heart sped up. "We're taking good care of her." AJ unwrapped his arm from her shoulder but remained next to her. Nick nodded, getting AJ's hint. "But Lay, if you want me to kick his ass for you, I'll do it." Layah smiled a little more. "Thanks, Nick, but I'd rather do it myself." She felt glad that she had friends that cared about her. Her remembrance of Britney with Brian would forever burn in her mind, and she tried not think of it. Now the time had come to move on, and move on she would, with her friends. "You got it, Lay. Anyway, I'm going to bed, I'm wiped out. You take care." Nick said, giving Layah a tight hug. And just as quickly as he came, he disappeared, which gave Kelly and Kevin a cue to leave. "Yeah, we're gonna get going, but Layah, you know that we're here if you need us." Kevin replied, Kelly right behind him. "Yeah, I know but I've got AJ. I'll be fine." Layah replied, and yawned a little. With quick goodbye's exchanged, Kelly and Kevin left for their room. An awkward quietness roamed over the room as AJ and Layah stood there, waiting to see what would happen next. Layah yawned again, trying to hide it. She felt bad if she directly went to bed, but then she would feel bad if she stayed up with AJ, yawning and attempting to stay awake all the while. It was a lose-lose situation for her. AJ saw this, and faced Layah, getting close to her again. He was hungered, and wanted to have another kiss. Her lips were like very powerful but ripening strawberries - his favorite fruit since a young boy - that he wanted to taste again. He figured it would only be a matter of time before he taste her again... "Tired, luv?" AJ asked, his original accent slipping through. Quickly, he closed his mouth, trying to be careful of what he was saying. He couldn't reveal the truth just yet...Timing was everything and he wanted to make sure Layah was in the right time and place to learn. The change of his accent had caught Layah's attention, but not by much. Another yawn. "Yeah. Is it okay if I go straight to bed? I'm sorry for not-" Layah was interrupted by AJ's smile. "Its alright, I'm not minding at all. I know its been a difficult day for you, and I think rest is what you need." AJ agreed, carefully watching his words, using his "Americanized" accent. It was a bitch to use most of the time, but what could he do? Not many would understand his story, so it was easier to keep to himself. Layah's face grew a sleepy grin. "If you say so..." and with that, she walked over to one of her suitcases - the one Kevin dropped - and opened it up. Inside were her clothes and accessories, and her nighties. As she looked through her sleep wear, Layah realized that the only night wear she brought was all things from Victoria's Secret and Fredrick's Of Hollywood! Everything was colorful, but see through, too short and suggestive in every which way possible. Trying not to panic, Layah searched through her choices and came up with a white, sleeveless, semi-see through nightie, cut at right above the knee in a baby-doll dress form. It was pretty, and meant for other "activities". She just hoped that AJ wouldn't get the wrong idea... AJ saw the slight panic on Layah's face and was ready to see what was wrong, when her face calmed, and he watched her slip into the bathroom quietly, quickly. With the door shut, AJ sighed and softly moaned, his manhood growing. He had caught sight of the night wear Layah had chosen, and wanted to see Layah in it before he would violently rip it from her body and ravish her, cherishing her body until she couldn't take it anymore. It was torture to know that she'd be there - finally! -and that he could once again watch her sleep, just like he had so many years ago. Smiling to himself, the thought of her peaceful rest only made him that much more giddy. Soon, very soon... A moment later, Layah, ever conscious of her movements and her body, came out of the bathroom, all ready for bed. Turns out, the nightie wasn't TOO revealing after all, and only her nipples poked through when she shivered, which thankfully wasn't often, and it looked...cute on her. AJ watched Layah, still with a smile, and saw that it was now his turn to use the bathroom. Layah moved to the unused bed, and crawled in, yawning once more. She watched AJ disappear into the bathroom as she laid on her side, propping herself up on the pillow, and her thoughts turned back to the kiss they shared earlier. She was...curious about him, wanting to know what he was like in all sexual and romantic aspects. Layah knew that AJ had not-such-great luck with women - most of them just wanted his money and fame - but Layah knew the man behind all that. Her own curiosity surprised her, her "dire need" of knowing what AJ was like in bed... Layah thought about that for a moment. AJ was one of those passionate men, one whom liked to take his time with sexual doings. She could imagine him taking all night long, his body pouring over in sweat, words of lust and love falling from his lips, his violent moanings, his body warmth captiving, his scent intoxicating, his eyes sending the lucky woman to ecstacy and back... She let out a rather louder-than-should-be moan, herself becoming hot just thinking about it. But then again, she had originally thought of Brian the same way, and he was, once he got down to the nitty-gritty, and look what happened there. It would be best for now to just stay away from those thoughts, but Layah knew that they'd be back to haunt her. Thinking of the Devil himself, AJ popped out of the bathroom, wearing only red silk boxers and a smile. Layah took one look and decided to let those thoughts come rushing back, her instinct was to jump him. "No!" Layah thought. "That's AJ you're thinking about...but daaaayumn. That man can sure turn a lady on..." AJ caught sight of Layah's blushing, and his smile grew even more. Although he cared not to do it, his ability to mind read was impeccable. Layah's thoughts clearly rang out in AJ's mind, and he realized that she was just as much as curious about him, as he was about her. "Perhaps I should spice things up a little. What if I'd try this..." AJ thought, his smile becoming playful. He stared at Layah, watching Layah stare back at him. Out of the blue, AJ jumped on the bed and attacked Layah, tickling, playfully roaring in delight. Layah, surprised but oddly happy, giggled and squirmed, attempting to get AJ back. They moved along the bed, rolling and wrestling all the while tickling, with the occasional rubbing, nibbling or biting. Finally, AJ and Layah calmed down, only to find that AJ was on top of Layah, and Layah's nightie was exposing a little more skin than she intended to. Plus, from the playful fighting, both Layah and AJ had become aroused - from all the rubbing and touching that occurred - and both arousals were easy to see. AJ got off quickly and tried to control himself. Although he was glad with what had just happened, he realized that he probably over stepped a boundary. Reading her mind again, AJ saw that Layah felt the same. "Sorry, luv. I guess I got caught up in the moment. I didn't mean t'offend ya er anythin'." AJ's accent was coming through once again. By this point, he didn't give a crap. If he couldn't hide it that much anymore, then let his truth be told. After all, Layah was going to need to know what HER Truth was soon enough. She looked at AJ weird. "Where'd ya learn to do the accent?" Layah asked, suddenly smiling. She thought he was faking! "Well I'll be damned..." AJ thought. "She doesn't believe me for a split moment." Playing along, and getting out of a really long explanation, AJ switched back to his American accent. "Ah, you know, I just heard it around and tried it out. You never know when Hollywood is gonna call for an Irish Rebel like me." he said with a wink. Layah grinned even more, only to break into a big yawn. "Okay, Missy. Get your butt in bed, time for you to go to sleep." AJ said, still being playful. Layah played along. "Yes sir, sargeant sir!" she said, pretending to be serious. AJ laughed, as she got into bed and cuddled up underneath the sheets. "You all tucked in?" AJ asked, trying not to step into the "fatherly" role that only Kevin was famous for. Layah smiled. "Yeah, I'm good. Are you?" Layah asked innocently. Outside, AJ smiled and only nodded. Inside, he groaned with such a passion...was he good? Not to be immodest, but he knew his sexual reputation. Normally it was only for one night stands, with his motto, "once you've had the best, you have to have the rest." There were many a time that AJ had ruined sex for women, not because he was bad, but because of his ability to cherish a woman's body, square inch by square inch. He knew things that would put the writers of the Kama Sutra to shame! AJ had mastered every sexual position, turn on (and turn off), every body movement, everyTHING of sex. But only to a few in this modern day did he show it to. After all, years ago they labeled him "Casanova" and "Don Juan", and that lasted for many years in Europe. He didn't need another title such as that, although considering his status now-a-days...it was semi-too late. However, he wanted to show Layah what he could do, the pleasure he would bring to her! Endless hours of kissing, caressing, nibbling, biting, holding, laughter, happy tears, and the ecstacy he could bring to her...how he wanted her so bad! He had tasted her once, and now he needed to taste her again. AJ's blood was BOILING to have her... "Okay then. Nighty-night, AJ." Layah replied, and automatically wrapped her arms around him, pulling him close. AJ gave into the hug, and gently left small, wet kisses on her neck. Surprised but still curious, Layah whimpered. "Tease." she muttered once she and AJ let go of each other. AJ's eyes spoke of something else. "But as always, luv. That's what I do." AJ said, smiling still. Slowly, Layah's smile faded into a frown as thoughts of her "nights" with Brian came crashing back...they were still very vivid in her mind, and her heart was throbbing again. AJ noticed that her thoughts became sad, and in hopes to make her feel better, gently he kissed her forehead. This time, she didn't noticed the accent change. "You'll feel better in the mornin', m'dear. Try to get some rest. If ya need anythin', I'm just in the next bed, all ya need t'do is t'wake me up. I love ya, Layah." AJ spoke quietly, gently. Layah's violet eyes twinkled with tears. "Love ya too, J. I'll let you know if I need anything. And thank you for all that you've done. I know that I'm not being easy on anyone." Layah replied, with small tears now streaming down her face. AJ wiped them away and hugged her tightly. "Don't worry about it, luv. You're not a bother t'anyone. You couldn't help the fact that Brian gave up on the relationship. God knows that you loved that man to death. I know its not fair that he gave you up for Britney, but trust me, there are plenty of others that are here to help ya and are willin' t'do anythin' for ya. Especially me." AJ said, feeling free to speak as he wished. He was glad that he met Layah, and that she cared for him too. But the question now was, how much did she care for him? "AJ?" Layah asked. Tears still rolled down her cheeks, and her voice was as shaky and small as a child who's scared of the dark. "Yeah?" "Will you sing me a lullaby? On nights that I couldn't sleep, Brian sang to me. Will you sing?" Layah looked so scared at that moment, so pained at that moment, so...innocent and vulnerable at that moment. AJ silently vowed to himself that he would never let another person or thing hurt Layah. All she was was a child, one that still needed guidance, despite her age. And he was glad that he was the man to do the job. "O'course. What would ya like t'hear?" AJ asked, ready to sing his heart out for Layah. She smiled at the thought - secretly she preferred AJ's voice over Brian's - and it was a good thing that she was able to be sung to by AJ. She wondered if things would always be like this in a relationship with AJ. It WAS a possibility, after all, did they or did they not share a kiss? Layah was eager to find out more information about AJ. She wanted to get to know him better. "Whatever you want to sing. I don't care." she replied, watching AJ make up his mind. "Okay, ya've got it, luv. This one's fer ya." AJ said, and started singing a simple tune that his mother sang to him when he was a little boy. It was an Italian lullaby his mother had picked up when she was traveling around the world - back when the continents were all connected as one - and slowly, he sang, as Layah closed her eyes and fell into a peaceful sleep. When he thought that she wouldn't wake up, AJ sat there, on the bed, and didn't move, watching her. All the thoughts of the years past, and of the recent, swept through him. Finally, he would have a chance with Layah - it was like a dream come true. He would have her always - together they would be. AJ was aware that Layah didn't know of her...real side yet, and that he would have to teach her, but he also was happy that he was able to take care of Layah once again. So many lifetimes had passed, and he wasn't allowed to see her. Of course, he ignored what they all said - he watched her sleeping many a year ago, and now he was happy to say that he'd have his chance again. But only when Layah was ready, and despite how much he wanted her, he wouldn't be with her until he had her permission and not a moment before that. But if only things were so simple... AJ stayed that way for the rest of the night, until he saw the tips of dawn crawl across the sky.Part Four: A New DayDawn approached quickly. The pinks, oranges, yellows and light blues were growing fast upon the City that never sleeps, and AJ had spent another night 100% awake. It wasn't all that uncommon for him to not sleep, but this time he had better reasons. All through the night, Layah had not once stirred, but AJ kept a close eyeful watch, making sure that she was okay. It was a peaceful night, compared to most, and he was glad that he was able to spend time with Layah. It didn't matter to him if she was awake or not, she was there and he could have a field day just by watching her. Around 7 am, AJ quietly called for room service, ordering breakfast for the two of them. He knew Layah's favorite breakfast: scrambled eggs with two pieces of toast (with butter and jelly!), 2 sausage patties, orange juice and coffee. Again, normally he didn't eat but he figured that it was a special occasion. He made sure the order came at 7:30. Knowing that today was the day that everyone had to leave - had to be in the lobby at nine o'clock sharp, according to Kevin - AJ let Layah sleep until 7:30, then he'd wake her up for breakfast, and give her a chance to shower, dress and pack to make sure that all of them would be ready for the plane ride home. Home. Clearly that meant Layah would move out of Brian's house, but where would she go? Layah wasn't one to sit on her butt and wait for something to happen. She'd probably get a place of her own, considering she had enough money for one. There was NO way she'd stay with Brian for another second longer, but while she searched for a house, where would she stay? Kelly would, no doubt, offer a place, and he himself would too...well, it all depended on Layah, and what she wanted to do. A hard knock came from the door, and AJ realized that it was time for breakfast, and to wake Layah. Smiling, he quickly threw on a pair of black sweatpants and opened the door, finding breakfast there. He tipped the bellhop, and brought the breakfast inside, seeing that Layah was stirring. Quickly, AJ brought the Breakfast to Layah, and smiled as she woke up. "Top o'the Mornin' to ya, luv. Thought that a nice, hearty breakfast was in order t'start off a brand new day." AJ smiled. Layah sat confused for only a moment before the events of the day before came crashing back to her mind. Her heart gently ached as she was smelled the breaksfast - boy, did it smell great! - and noticed AJ, standing there with a smile on his face. She noticed that he had thrown black sweat pants on, meaning he probably didn't sleep (after figuring out he slept au natural). Why was he semi-dressed? Did he sleep? Layah was curious to find out what was going on with AJ, she wanted to know what happened during the night that made him not sleep. "Thanks. But I have one question for you." Layah stated. AJ couldn't help but notice how cute she looked first thing in the morning. She was adorable! "What is it, luv?" "Did you sleep last night?" she asked, still in her innocent mindset. AJ, whom forgot to change his clothes to make it look like he slept, thought quickly. "For a little bit. But I was more worried about you. I was making sure you were okay, and I stayed awake in case if ya needed me." he said, speaking only part of the Truth. Layah tenderly grinned. "You stayed up for me?" She was asking that question as if she didn't have a caring soul for her in the world, and a complete stranger came by to help her. "God, she's so cute!" AJ thought, and nodded. "That I did, luv. Now lets eat up before our food gets cold." And with that, each one of them dug in. The breakfast was scrumptious, and filling. Once done with breakfast, Layah and AJ showered, dressed and packed respectively, making sure that they had calmed from the night before. Even still, Layah's heart raced every time she thought about the tickle fest that she shared with AJ. Her mind churned; what was it that made AJ so irrisistable? Was it his ability to make a woman feel comfortable? Was it his good looks? Or was it because of the way he could glance into a woman's eyes and physically touch her soul? Layah figured it must be a combination of all three, and to leave it at that. She wasn't much in the mood to drive herself crazy this morning. It was for the best, and for the long ass trip that was coming up quickly... Speaking of, what would she do? She had left for the tour thinking that she'd be with Brian forever. But now...naturally it was over and she'd have to move out. But to where? She knew she could always crash at Kelly's and Kevin's until she found a place, but that could get a little frustrating, considering how long it could take to find a place. Layah's mind went reeling. Where to stay? And she'd also have to semi-resolve things with Brian so she could get her things and move into somewhere temporary. For the now, Layah moved the thoughts from her mind, and decided she would think about them on the plane ride home. She had other things to deal with, like her ever wondering thoughts of AJ. "You okay?" AJ had asked, coming up from behind Layah. Nearly jumping at his voice, she turned around, and found his eyes gently probing into hers. Layah suddenly felt hot, his eyes being able to spark the greatest flame within, and he hadn't even touched her intimately! Again, her thoughts ran to the more erotic side of nature... "Yeah, I'm fine, just thinking." Layah replied, her cheeks flushing a little. AJ titled his head with a half smile, and rested his arms around Layah's waist, holding her lightly. "Ya sure, luv?" he asked, not even bothering to cover up his accent anymore. What was the point? Plus, she thought his accent was practiced, and that it was only for her amusement, temporarily. She'd know the truth soon enough. His lips were once again inches away from hers. The temptation of another kiss had approached, both of them ached for it. Layah didn't even bother to answer, AJ hinted that her thoughts were no longer on if she was okay. And God, how he wanted to taste her again! If only one more kiss was granted, he promised himself he'd be a good boy. If only...and it felt so damned good... Only an inch between their lips, they had moved their heads closer, and closer still. The other could smell and mentally taste the other's breath, reliving their special moment from the previous night, the passion, the wanting, the needing... A sudden bang hit the hotel room door and as if on automatic pilot, AJ and Layah split apart, moving away from each other as quickly as possible. Kevin's voice was heard on the other end of the door. "You guys ready?" "Yeah, we'll be down in a minute!" AJ replied, switching his accent back to his Americanized one as he faced the door. Layah's heart continued to pound. What just happened here? Another near moment of finding out how AJ could set her soul on fire, and making her want him inside her more than anything in the world. Problem was, would AJ really want to go that far? And would she allow him? More things to think about later. First, she'd have to get her own act together, and start to live life on her own. "Ready, Lay?" AJ turned around, checking up on her after what just *almost* happened...damnit! Sometimes he REALLY hated Kevin. Last night he and Kelly dropped in and now THIS...when was he going to get a chance to tell Layah that he loved her? Sighing inwardly, AJ decided to let it go. He figured in time, Layah would know what she needed and then some..."Yeah," AJ thought to himself. "9 inches later." He chuckled softly. "Yeah, I'm ready, AJ. What's so funny?" Layah asked, a playful tone peeking through her voice. It was nice to see AJ smile again, and be back to his normal accent. Although his Irish one WAS kinda sexy...but best not to be thinking of that now. She was near temptation all over again when AJ was that close, but even still, she had to be careful. Her heart needed to mend properly before jumping back into the throes of passion. "Nothing you need to worry about, Lay. Lets get going." AJ replied, picking up his suitcases. He watched Layah do the same, and together, they walked out the door. The bus ride to the airport was hectic, as usual. Every person in the bus tried to duck down, so chaos wouldn't break out, but that wasn't very successful. After getting several police escorts, the bus took off. Layah, AJ, and Howie all sat towards the front; Kevin and Kelly sat in the middle; Nick and Brian were sitting in the back. Even being that close to Brian, Layah felt exposed every which way. Cold, alone, naked, lost...her heart had begun to pound a little bit, but she knew that with enough will power, she could block it out. AJ's arm was around Layah's shoulder, as if to say, "I'm right here, I'm not leaving and I'm not going to let anyone hurt you." He brought a little comfort to her, but she knew that this would pass in time, and she'd be able to deal with Brian in the appropriate manner. The bus ride to the airport was quiet, except for the noise of the Big Apple that surrounded them. Layah focused her eyes towards the front, although the urges to either burst out in hysterical tears or switch seats with Nick so she could beat the crap out of Brian were what she really wanted to do. Her grip tightened slightly, and AJ took notice. He turned his head to see that Layah's eyes were starting to swell up with tears. Gently, and attempting to not make much notice, AJ pulled Layah closer and held her as best as he could. Layah fought back her tears, and kept closing her eyes to make sure she was successful. Shortly thereafter, the bus reached the airport where the boys, Layah and Kelly met up with their entourage. Everyone was ready to go home. It had been a long two months - promotional tours were always a pain the butt, however it was neccessary - and everyone needed a rest, before going BACK on tour for another 9 months to a year. Life as a star, or close there to, was ALWAYS busy; regardless of what kind of work one did. Brian watched Layah from a short distance. She was standing near AJ and Howie, looking more beautiful than ever. He felt horrible about what he had done, but what else could there be? He knew that the time had come where Layah needed to be let go. The cover up with Britney had worked - thankfully - and it killed him inside, but he knew that she needed to learn who she was inside. That meant AJ had to take over, and it was time to watch from the sidelines. AJ had warned Brian about the changes, from the start of the relationship, that were to take place with Layah, and it would be confusing, hurtful and painful to remain together. Brian tried to hold his own tears back, but found it harder than before. He felt he had cried a thousand oceans that last night, without his lady by his side. Brian missed her touch, her laugh, her scent, her smile, her everything...to have Layah cuddle up against his chest and run his fingers through her hair while she fell asleep, to hear her voice cry out for him over and over again as he made love to her, to just be with her... More tears swelled up in his eyes, and a few dropped, but he quickly wiped them away to make sure no one noticed that he was just as heartbroken as Layah was. Damnit! Why did he have to lose his heart to the one who was destined to only battle him and win? Damn that Prophecy that would come true - the Prophecy that he had learned from AJ, once HE found out what he was, and then falling for the girl that they both met in the cafe all those years ago... "Yo B-Rok, you okay?" Nick shook Brian out of his thoughts, and was watching him cry. Nick didn't know the truth, and it was to stay that way. In fact, only he himself and AJ knew what was to happen in the future, which always put a secret, silent strain on AJ's and Brian's relationships with the other guys. But thats how it always went. "Yeah, I'll be fine." Brian replied, not really wanting to talk. In truth, Brian wanted to go to Layah, get down on his knees and beg her for forgiveness, and ask her to take him back. He wanted to spill the truth, tell her everything and be back in her arms. But Brian knew better than that. Time was suppose to let itself reveal what was to happen, and Brian had to let go. He knew he would never love another like he loved Layah, and most likely wouldn't date anyone else either. It was just going to have to be this way, and he'd have to accept it, regardless. "If you say so, dawg. Lets get going." Nick replied, still watching his best friend becoming teary-eyed. He had no clue what was going on, but he figured that it all would work out in time. Things usually did. Nick stayed with Brian, whom was watching Layah. An eerie-ness followed, creeping up upon the group, even though Nick, Howie and Kevin tried to make it a little bit more cheerful by making jokes, but it didn't work. Once getting to the boarding area, after dropping off their luggage and going through the usual airport checks, everyone split up and made last minute phone calls and whatnot. Layah walked to the window, and stared out, watching the planes fly by. No one was with her, which was a change. She needed to be alone, and keep to herself. Her heart still ached over the fact that she was no longer Brian's girl. She looked down at the ring Brian had given her for their first year anniversary. It was a pretty silver band, with tiny Garnet chips intertwined. It was simple, but Layah treasured that ring more than life itself. Sighing, she twisted it around her finger - another bad habit she had picked up on - and thought about what it symbolized. "I don't have any reason to wear this anymore." She muttered to herself, wishing she could turn back time and be back in Brian's arms. But she knew that once it was over, she couldn't turn back. Besides, this was a new day, and there wasn't any use in wishing to turn back time. It wouldn't help the healing process go by any faster. For now, she kept the ring on, but once she got back home, she'd have to take it off, and put it away. Naturally it'd feel weird without it on, but that's just another thing she'd have to live without. And home was another problem she'd now have to think about. Once again, the question came to her mind, where to stay? She'd have to go back to Brian's to get her things, but where to move into? "Layah?" a voice called for her. Layah turned, and found Brian standing there, looking pretty awful. She saw that Brian's eyes were red, which could only mean that he had been crying too. Was he here to beg for forgiveness and take her back? Did he even want her back? Did he still love her? God only knew that she wanted him back in the worst way. "Yeah?" She spoke, her heart now speeding up. How she still wanted him! "Please let me still be his..." she thought. A moment of silence past before he spoke. "I just wanted to...uh, I just wanted to say that you can stay with me, if you'd like. You know, until you can find another place." Brian said boldly. This was breaking his heart inside, but he had to keep up the act. He couldn't let Layah find out that this was killing him too. It took all his willpower to not break down and cry, and confess everything to Layah right then and there. He knew he HAD to be strong though, and not let Layah see that he was feeling exactly what she was. Layah just stood there in disbelief. As if it was now official, Layah's heart broke once again, and she couldn't help but let her tears come. Let her stay until she found a new place? She couldn't believe what she was hearing. How could he be so cold this way? What the hell was he thinking? STAY with him? She'd rather starve on the street than live with him for another moment. Calmly, coldly, she spoke. "Thank you KINDLY for the offer, Brian, but I will not be staying with you. Once we return, I will be moving out. I will collect as much as I can, so I can stay out of your way. After all, doesn't BRITNEY want to move in? You two make SUCH the perfect couple. How can I be in the way of YOUR happiness? Makes sense, after all." Layah glared harshly at Brian. Brian gulped nervously. He knew what Layah was capable of, and he didn't want to feel her wrath. Besides, this was hard enough. How could she make it even harder? "Because she doesn't know the truth." Brian thought to himself sadly and attempted to relax a little. "Britney is going to keep her own place. She thinks it'll be easier that way." Brian responded, lying through his teeth. His heart ached even more. "Fine. I'll be out of your hair soon enough." Layah said and turned back around, watching more planes land and take off. Brian stood there for a moment, and then walked away. He had done it. And now, it was officially over, and he could cry the thousand more tears for the woman that he lost. "I just hope this is right, AJ. If not, I'll make sure you pay for the thousands of years you already owe me." Brian muttered, and slumped into his seat, near Howie and Nick. He remained silent, since both of them were on their cell phones. Only a few minutes passed before they boarded their flight, and took off to Sunny Florida, all with hopes that everything to was going to be alright.Part FIVE:COMING SOON....© Copyright 2003 All Rights Reserved.
