CHAPTER ELEVEN:
"No, not at all. I just think we need to talk and I need to tell you something. It's nothing bad though so don't worry. I just don't want to talk about it in the car with all these distractions." Erin assured him with a smile. AJ smiled back at her. Erin turned the radio on and cuddled up to AJ. Soon they pulled into his driveway and into the garage. Erin got out following AJ into the house. "Want a coke or some tea?" he asked. "Tea would be great." Erin said, walking in to the living room and putting on a Bryan McKnight CD. AJ came in handing Erin some tea. "Thank you" she smiled and sat down on the couch. AJ sat down beside her. "Ok, which is first, talk or tell?" AJ asked. "How about we talk first. Is that alright?" Erin replied and looked at him. "Sure baby, whatever you want to do is fine with me." AJ said, looking back at her. "AJ, what do the others say to you about me when I am not around?" Erin asked, by way of starting the conversation. "Nothing really, just that you are pretty sweet and that they think you will fit in with all of our craziness. That's about it, why?" AJ asked with concern "Just wondering. So what do you tell them in return?" Erin questioned, feeling sad that she had to drill for answers. "Just that I'm glad to hear them say that because it makes things so much easier on me when we are on tour." he said, smiling at her. Erin looked at him rather confused. "How does them liking me make it easier while you are on tour?" she asked. "Because then I don't have to hear negative things about you. Plus with the girls liking you, there will always be someone for you to hang out with while I am busy with rehearsals and stuff." AJ explained. "But why would I be on tour with you guys?" Erin asked, still confused. "Because I want my beautiful girlfriend with me. I can't be on the road all that time without you." AJ paused. "Erin baby, what is this all about?" he asked, wondering what was going through your mind. "I have to know where I stand" Erin confessed. "Where you stand? What do you mean?" AJ asked, now the one who was confused. "AJ look, I have to know how you feel about me before I can answer your question." Erin answered, so seriously that it scared AJ and had him wondering what she were thinking about. Taking her hands in his, AJ turned and looked at her with seriousness in his eyes. "Baby, I have never cared about any other girl the way that I care about you. I think about you every minute of the day and night. I hate it when you are not with me, I hate it when it is time for you to go home, and I hate it when you are not here by my side. I haven't even thought about another girl since we met. Erin, I need you on my life. You are the only girl I want in my life." he said sincerely, looking at her hands that were intertwined with his. Then, looking up into her eyes, he continued. "Look, I know that we just met not too long ago Erin, but I feel like we have known each other for ever. Baby, I really think that what I am feeling for you has to be love because I have never had these feelings for any other girl that I have ever dated or lived with. Erin, what I'm trying to say is that I think I am in love with you. As he spoke, AJ's eyes never left Erin's and tears were streaming down her face from happiness. "Baby, why are you crying?" AJ asked as he reached up to wipe away her tears. "AJ, they are happy tears. I am in love with you too but I was scared that I was rushing things and that you wouldn't feel the same way about me, or that you would think I was a bad girl if we slept together to soon." she explained. "Baby Girl, I could never think bad about you and I sleeping together. I love you, and I know that if you didn't have deep feelings for me, you would have never allowed me to touch you in your room today." he assured her as he kissed her. Backing away from him, Erin said "wait AJ, I need to tell you something else." She looked a little scared of what his reaction was going to be. "What is it Baby?" AJ asked. "Well, the other night I was on the computer and I got this instant message. It was from Lance. He tried to get me to tell him where I was and when I told him that I wouldn't tell him and that I didn't want to see him because I was in love with someone else, well....he said that he would keep looking for me if it took him the rest of his life and that he would find me and no other man will have me because I belong to him." Erin told him, watching his face for a reaction. AJ just sat there thinking for a minute, but said nothing. "AJ, I will understand if you don't want to get involved with me because of this stuff with him" Erin added when she got no response. He looked up at her with a confused and shocked look on his face. "Baby Girl, I am in love with you and if you think for one minute that his obsession with you bothers me or makes me not want to be with you, then you must not have totally heard me when I said I want you in my life, I need you in my life, and there is not a minute in the day that I don't think about you. He isn't going to stop my love for you...no one is." he said, looking deep into her eyes. "Well, you just looked like you were deep in thought so I thought that..." Erin began. "No baby, I was thinking that you told him last night that you were in love with me but yet, you pulled away from our kiss goodnight and walked into the house like you were not interested in the passion I had for you." AJ corrected, interrupting Erin before she could finish her sentence. "AJ, the reason I walked away like that is because I wanted you so bad right then that I almost told you to take me home with you and I was afraid that if I hadn't walked away right then, well lets just say that you would have been a very happy man last night and I would still be wondering if you were thinking that I was a ho." she said, looking at him for some sort of response. "Baby, I would have been the happiest man on earth and you would have known last night that I am in love with you and that in no way would I or could I ever think of the woman that I am in love with as a ho. I love you and our happiness is all that matters to me. Erin you are all I need, all I want, and nothing or no one else matters to me...just you." AJ whispered, taking her face tenderly in his hands and gently brushing his lips against hers, using his tongue to tenderly lick her lips, then sucking on them until she opened her mouth, giving him full access to her hungry, awaiting tongue that was eagerly wanting to feel his soft velvet tongue against hers, which AJ took advantage of the second she opened her mouth. Erin and AJ had kissed like this before, but this time it was different. Just knowing that she belonged to him and he belonged to her sent fireworks exploding through her body like it was the 4th of July. Parting from the kiss, AJ searched her eyes, looking for permission to continue. Erin smiled a sweet sexy smile. "Shall we move this to a different room?" she asked, her eyes never leaving his gaze. AJ never said a word. Instead, he picked her up in his strong but tender arms, embracing her with passion, and carried her up the winding staircase to his room. Walking in, he used his foot to close the door behind him as he walked over and gently placed her on the bed. "Baby, is this the room that you were referring to?" AJ asked in a low, sexy whisper, still looking into her eyes as he awaited her answer. Looking back into AJ's beautiful chocolate brown eyes, Erin smiled, and was just getting ready to answer when... CHAPTER TWELVE:AJ lowered down, kissing her with a burning passion. She returned that same burning passion to him and she could feel his excitement growing against her thigh. AJ reached up, removing the top that covered her bikini top, then kissed down her neck, shoulders and chest. As he untied her top and removing it, he said "God baby, you are so beautiful." The next morning they were woken up by the phone ringing. Looking at the clock, Erin saw that it was only 6:30am. She knew it was Granny. "Jay, that has to be Granny. What are we going to do? How can I tell her that I spent the night with you? Then she will know that we slept together." she pointed out. "Baby, we are going to have to face Granny sooner or later so we might as well just do it now." AJ said as he reached for the phone. "Hello?"...CHAPTER THIRTEEN:"Hello Alex. I'm sorry to wake you, but could I please speak to Erin?" came the voice on the other end of the line. "Sure, hold on a minute." AJ said, handing Erin the phone. "You were right babe, it's Granny." She looked at him with a nervous look on her face. "Hello Granny." she said quietly. "Good morning sweetie. I was wondering if you happened to tell Alex anything about Lance?" Granny asked. "Yes I did. Last night, why?" Erin asked, confused. "Because I need to talk to both of you some time today about him." Granny explained. "Ok, sure. When?" Erin asked, still confused. "How about lunch at 11:30?" Granny suggested. "Ok, great. I'll tell AJ and we will be there, but I will be home shortly." Erin agreed, still kind of nervous. "No sweetie, don't rush. I know you and Alex had a busy night last night so take your time. Go back to sleep for a while and I will call you around 10:00 so you two can take a shower before you come over here." Granny insisted with the same sweetness in her voice that she always has when talking to Erin. "I will call you in a bit. Bye sweetie." With that, Granny hung up the phone. "Well, did she yell at you for not coming home?" AJ asked. "No, actually she didn't. She wants us to go over there for lunch so that she can supposedly talk to us about Lance." Erin replied. "Oh shit, that is when we will get yelled at." AJ groaned. "I don't know, because she said for us to go back to sleep because she knows that we had a busy night and that we will want to take a shower before we go over there. She even said that she will call us around 10 so we can get one and be there at 11:30 for lunch." Erin explained, still a little confused. "AJ, this is too weird that Granny isn't upset about me not coming home at all last night." "Well baby, we will just have to deal with it when we get there, but right now I don't want to think about it because I have a beautiful woman in my bed and I have other thoughts that I would like to make become a reality." AJ said as he took the phone from Erin and put it back in it's cradle, pulling her close to him. "Erin, no matter what Granny is up to, it will never change my feelings toward you. You are my shinning star and we will always be together, so right now I want to show you just how much you are loved by me." He leaned over, gently kissing her at first, then deepening the kiss, using his tongue to part her lips so that he could explore the inside of her mouth and feel her velvet tongue rub against his. Erin started running her nails up his back, starting at the base of his butt and gently running them all the way up to his neck and into his hair line. AJ moaned, loving the feel of her touch on his body. Erin could tell that his excitement was growing as she felt the hardness building against her. Looking at the clock, you noticed that it was 10:15 and you knew it was Granny. AJ reached over and picked it. "Hello?" "Good morning Alex. Are you children awake?" Granny asked. "Good morning Granny. Yes, we are awake and getting ready to come over to have a nice lunch with you." AJ said. "Yes, the lunch will be nice, but only because I will have you two here with me." Granny commented sincerely. "We will be over shortly then." AJ told her. "Great. See you then. Bye." she said, and hung up the phone. AJ looked over at Erin and said "Sorry babe, but I'm not going. Granny is just being too sweet. She is going to kill me." Erin looked at him. "Oh yes you are going! You are not going to leave me to face her alone, mister!" she protested, getting up and pulling the covers down off of him. "Now, you better get your gorgeous ass out of that bed and come get a shower so we can get over to face her." AJ looked at her and started laughing. "Ok, ok...I'm coming." he said, getting up and walking toward her. He put his arms around her waist. "Baby, do you seriously think that I would let you go by yourself, knowing that I am the reason that you didn't go home last night?" he asked. "No. Well, I was hoping that you were playing and wouldn't really do that to me." Erin answered, smiling up at him. "There is no way I would turn on you like that. We are in this together." AJ said, kissing the tip of her nose. "Now, lets go get a shower and then find you something to put on besides that bikini. He slapped her on the butt and they both walked into the shower.CHAPTER FOURTEEN:Getting out of the shower, AJ found Erin a pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt that was about two sizes to big to put on. She looked silly in them, but she felt better wearing them as opposed to walking home in her shorts and short shirt that she wore to Kevin's for the barbeque. Hand in hand, the two of them walked next door to Erin's house. Opening the door, Erin could smell what Caroline was fixing for lunch. "It smells like Caroline is fixing hamburgers." she said to AJ. "How did you guess? I knew Alex loved hamburgers, so I told Caroline to make them." Granny said, coming out of the family room with papers in her hand. She walked up to Erin, giving her a hug and a kiss on the cheek and doing the same to AJ. "Come on in the den with me. We might as well start talking while Caroline is finishing up lunch." AJ was silently scared of what was going to come, knowing that Granny could have him 'missing in action' so to speak. Then he thought, 'if she is really pissed, I will just ask Erin to marry me right in front of her, then maybe, just maybe she will let me live'. Following Granny into the den, Erin grabbed AJ's hand. He looked down at her and smiled like there was no reason to be shaking like she was. Granny sat at her desk. "Have a seat you two. We have something to discuss of vital importance." she said as Erin and AJ both took a seat in the over stuffed chairs that sat in front of Granny's desk. "Ok Alex, Erin tells me that she told you about Lance Eaton and how he e-mailed her and wanting to come see her, right?" Granny began. "Yes, we talked about him last night and she told me about him beating her up before and about how he wants her back now." AJ replied, looking at Erin. "Well, I am guessing that you don't care that he is looking for Erin then, am I right?" Granny asked. "No, I don't care at all about him. I am in love with Erin and she is in love with me. I hope that we stay together and maybe someday we could be married. It's just that I want to make sure I am what Erin wants because my life style is not like that of other men. I don't have a 9 to 5 job with weekends off and I am gone alot on tours in other countries, so I want Erin to know for sure that she can handle my life and that we will be able to make it through the rough times." AJ explained. "You are a very smart young man, Alex." Granny said. "But I have done a little investigating and I have found out that Mr. Eaton is here in Orlando and that he has been by this neighborhood a few times today already. I have had a tail on him since yesterday, and my source tells me that the little weasel is looking for Erin." "But Granny, how did he find us?" Erin asked nervously. "Well, from what I have been told, your so-called friend Jill is the one who told him where we lived." Granny told her, rather upset. "No Granny, there must be some mistake. Jill wouldn't do that." Erin protested. "Jim told me that she did it. She was mad at you because she e-mailed you about Paul breaking up with her, but you never got back with her, and now she says that you don't ever get on the computer anymore and talk to her since you and Alex have gotten together and she knows that you two are together because Alex isn't on the computer either. She feels like the two of you have ditched her, so she told Lance where we lived. Jim and Marsha are dealing with Jill back in Fort Worth now." Granny said, as Erin's eyes started filling with the tears she were holding back. "I didn't know that. I was trying to get my life started over and be happy again." Erin whispered as the tears started to fall. AJ stood up, kneeling beside her chair. "Baby, it will be alright. It isn't your fault. You deserve the right to be happy and you shouldn't have to feel bad because you weren't there when Jill and Paul broke up. After all, you are here and she is in Texas." he said softly, wiping her tears away. "Alex is right, Erin. Jill is just jealous because you now have someone who cares about you and you are the one who is happy. The break up was all her fault because she was caught with Paul's best friend Barry. In the end, Paul dumped her and so did Barry, so now she's all alone. But now we have to worry about Lance." Granny pointed out. "Excuse me, lunch is ready." Caroline announced, coming into the den. "Thank you Caroline. Lets continue this over lunch." Granny said, getting up. They all went into the dining room and were seated. Caroline served lunch, then left the room. "Now, from what I can tell from what my sources tell me, Erin you can never go anywhere alone. Alex, this is where you and your bodyguard come in at." Granny began as they stared eating. "Just name it and it will be done." AJ assured her. "Well, since you two obviously spent the night together last night, I think it will be best if Erin stays at your house with you and your bodyguard." Granny suggested. "Ok, that's no problem. I will call Marcus and tell him to come back to my place tonight." AJ said. "Now, any time that you have to go away and Erin isn't going with you, she will come over here. I am going to be moving a couple of my best men and their wives in here, so not only will this house be watched 24/7, but so will yours from the outside. I also have the jerk being tailed 24/7 until he makes his move, whatever that might be." Granny continued. "Don't worry Granny, Erin will never be away from me. Wherever she is, I will be and wherever I am, she will be. If you are bring these men in though, why do you think it is best for her to stay with me? Not that I mind or anything, because I love the idea of her moving in with me. I was just curious." AJ asked as he took Erin's hand in his. "Well, I figured that if Lance happens to make it inside the gates, he will look for her here first. Then Tom and Pete will be able to handle him before he can find Erin because she will be at your house." Granny explained. "That's a good idea." AJ agreed. "Now Erin, you have been sitting there not saying a word. How do you feel about all of this?" Granny asked, looking at her grandaughter. "I like that plan, but I don't want to endanger either of you in this. Maybe I should just meet with Lance and get it over with." Erin said. Both Granny and AJ yelled at the same time. "No!" You are not seeing him ever!" "But if I do?.." Erin countered. "Erin, you will not see him. You are my girlfriend and if he was to hurt you in any way, I would have to kill him and then I would go to jail." AJ said with anger in his voice. "Erin, do you want to go back to Lance?" Granny asked. "No, I don't. I am in love with AJ." Erin answered honestly. "Then why did you say that?" AJ asked, feeling hurt. "I said that so I could protect you and Granny from him. I know he can be really dangerous." she said. "Baby, let me decide if I want to be with you during this." AJ told her. "And as for me, don't you worry about me. I have had to deal with bigger assholes then Mr. Eaton, trust me Sweetie." Granny added with a smile as she looked at AJ, knowing that he knew what she was talking about. "AJ, when we are done eating, would you please help Erin take some of her things to your house?" "It will be my pleasure to help my beautiful lady." AJ replied with a smile of his own. "Granny, I really have to know something." Erin said. "Go ahead sweetie, what is it?" Granny inquired. "I really thought you were having us here for lunch because you were going to yell at us because I stayed with AJ last night. You're really not mad at either one of us?" Erin asked in disbelief. "No sweetie. I knew when you left here that you would not be home last night. There was something in your eyes that told me, just by the way you two looked at each other." Granny replied seriously. Erin and AJ just looked at one another, stunned into silence. "I could tell you a few other things that I see, but you wouldn't believe me so I have written them down and put them away until the time is right to show them to you." Granny said with a big grin. "Now, don't you kids have some packing to do?" she asked as the door bell rang, which turned out to be Tom and Pete. Erin and AJ walked upstairs to pack some of her clothes. When they got to her room, AJ put his arms around her waist. "Well baby girl, this will be our trial run to see if you can stand me and my life style." he said, holding her close. "I just hope you don't get sick of me being around all the time." Erin sighed. "Never. Baby, I love you, remember?" AJ assured her, nuzzling his face into her neck. "Yes, but you know what they say...absence makes the heart grow fonder, so being with me all the time might change your mind about me." Erin said, turning around to look into his eyes. "Well, I guess we will find out soon enough, won't we?" AJ grinned. "I guess. I just hope we can survive through this and still like each other." Erin said. "Oh baby, I am sure that we will love each other even more then we do now." AJ replied, kissing her as they heard Granny come up the stairs with her two men. Embarrassed, Erin and AJ parted. "Sorry Granny." AJ blushed. "Don't worry about that. I was young once." Granny laughed as the two men gave AJ a dirty look....CHAPTER FIFTEEN:"Tom, Pete, this is Erin's boyfriend Alex. Alex, Erin, this is Tom and Pete. They will be staying here until we get this little matter with Mr. Eaton taken care of. Granny explained by way of an introduction. Everyone said their hellos, and Pete and Tom quickly changed their attitude once they realized that AJ was there to help make sure that Lance didn't get near Erin. "Alex is helping Erin move some of her things to his house. Would you boys kindly help them?" Granny asked. "Sure, we would be glad to." Pete replied as he walked in to Erin's bedroom. "So Alex, what do you do for a living?" "I am an entertainer, and please, call me AJ." AJ answered as he stood there waiting for Erin to finish collecting her things. "What kind of entertainer?" Tom asked. "I sing in a vocal group called the Backstreet Boys." AJ said while helping Erin get a suitcase down from the top of her closet. "BSB? My daughter is crazy about you guys. She buys every CD she can get her hands on." Pete commented. "Oh really? How old is your daughter?" AJ asked playfully, grinning at Erin. "She is 16, and she is crazy over Nick and AJ. Is that you?" Pete replied. "Yeah, that would be me. I'm AJ and Nick is my younger brother. He is 22 and I am 24. We are the two youngest ones of the group. The other three are older than me." AJ told him as he continued helping Erin get things that were too high for her to reach. "Well, you guys are pretty successful all over the world." Tom said. "Yeah, I guess you could say that, but we have worked hard and gave a lot of ourselves to our careers to get that notoriety. I don't regret one minute of it though. I love what I do and I can't think of anything I would rather be doing. AJ pointed out sincerely. "So you are 24 now? How long have you been in the business?" Tom asked. "We have been together as a group for 9 years now." AJ said. "9 years? That means that you were only 15 years old when you started." Pete observed. "15...yeah, that's right." AJ said, thinking. "Shit, at 15 all I was thinking about was football and girls." Pete joked while he and Tom started laughing. "Here you were at 15 already starting a career. Didn't you ever just want to date and stuff?" Tom asked, looking at AJ with a raised eyebrow. "Oh we dated and stuff. I mean, we had girls throwing themselves at us and we weren't dead. We were just regular young men with the same raging hormones as any other 13,15,18,19 and 21 year old guy. It was just that we had girls all over Europe throwing themselves at us, but yet nobody here in the states even gave us a glance for about 3 or 4 years." AJ answered, looking at Erin as she stood looking around her room. "Baby girl, are you done?" he asked her as he looked at the 2 suitcases and 1 duffel bag she had already packed. "Yeah, I think so. I guess if I need anything I can always come get it." Erin shrugged. "Yeah, we can come back and get it." AJ agreed, reminding her that the two of them were now joined at the hip. "Shall we go then?" he asked, picking up a suitcase and the duffel bag. "Here, let me take that." Tom said, taking the suitcase from AJ as Pete picked up the other suitcase. AJ swung the duffel bag over his shoulder, then took Erin's hand. "I want to stop and talk to Granny before we leave." she said as the four of them walked down the stairs. Stopping by the den where Granny was at, Erin called in to her. "I am ready to go Granny." Granny looked up from the paperwork that she was looking at. "Erin sweetie, you and Alex be sure to call Marcus and make sure that he is there with you tonight." she said. "We will Granny. I am sure that Lance won't get through the gate at the front entrance." Erin assured her with a smile. Well, just incase he does, this way you will have Alex and Marcus both there with you, and I know that they won't let him get near you. I will call you soon sweetie, and rest assured knowing that we will take care of that jerk for you." Granny said as she stood up and gave Erin a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Next AJ came up to Granny. "Alex, take care of my little girl until we get this animal taken care of." she said as she hugged him. "I will Granny. I love her and I will make sure that he don't get any where near her." AJ promised. "I know you love her Alex, and the reason I am letting her stay at your house is because I know that you will make sure that she will be safe. Plus she would be at your house all the time anyway because she loves you too. Now, you two get going. You will have to go shopping for food so that Erin can show you what a wonderful cook she is." Granny told him. "Ok Granny, we will talk to you soon." AJ kissed her on the cheek and picked up the duffel bag. He then took Erin's hand, and with Pete and Tom right behind them, they walked across the yards to AJ's house. Once inside, Erin took her bags up to AJ's, and what was now her room. She began unpacking her things while AJ showed the other two out and called Marcus to come over. When he was done, he came up in the room with her just as she was finishing up. "So, are you settled in baby?" he asked, putting his arms around Erin from behind. "Yes, I do believe I am." she said with a smile as he nuzzled her neck with little kisses. "AJ, did you call Marcus?" "I sure did. He should be here any time now." AJ replied, still kissing Erin's neck while she were enjoying his soft lips on her skin. He began rubbing his hands across her arms that he was holding. Then, noticing that she were enjoying his touch, he reached down, going up and under his own t-shirt that she was wearing. He started caressing her breasts and rubbing himself against her from behind. The two of them were just starting to lose themselves when they heard the door shut and then a familiar voice yell out, "Hey Bone, I'm here! Where are you at?" AJ stopped what he was doing. "Shit! It's Marcus. Damn! He has perfect timing." he complained in frustration. "Hey Marcus, we will be right down!" he yelled out, turning Erin around so that she was facing him. "We will finish this tonight for sure." With that said, he gave her a soft, sweet kiss, then took her hand and they both walked down the stairs. "Hey Bone." Marcus greeted. "I hope you don't mind, but I brought Trisha with me to stay for a while." he said. "No, I don't mind at all. How you doin' Trisha?" AJ asked, giving Marcus's girl a hug. "Erin, this is Marcus and his lovely lady Trisha. Marcus, Trisha, this is Erin, my lovely lady." "Well, you are every bit as pretty as Bone here said you were." Marcus said, giving Erin a hug. "Hi Erin." Trisha smiled. "I am sorry to hear about your ex trying to hurt you again, but between Bone, Marcus and myself, let that asshole just think about coming around here and he will wish he was back in Texas." Erin just looked at her, confused. "Oh sorry. I am a body guard also, so I agreed to come over here with my baby and help out if I am needed." she explained as she cuddled up to Marcus, seeing the look on Erin's face. "Ok, I get it now." Erin said with a laugh. "So Bone, what ya got in this place to eat besides nothing?" Marcus asked, knowing AJ all too well. "You're right man, we need to go shopping." AJ agreed. "Well, lets go then because my ass is getting hungry since I had to leave Trisha's momma's house before dinner." Marcus said. "Ok, ok, I got ya. Let's go." AJ laughed and grabbed his wallet off the entertainment center. The four of them went outside, loaded themselves into AJ's Tahoe, and headed to the store. They were driving along listening to a Kid Rock CD and joking around. In no time at all, they pulled up in the parking lot and AJ put on a baseball hat and of course a pair of his expensive shades. They went inside the store and Erin grabbed a shopping cart, heading down the aisles and picking up just about everything that a house would need to feed 4 hungry people. AJ and Marcus made sure that they picked up all the junk food that they liked, along with sodas and non-alcoholic beer. AJ paid for the groceries and then they all went outside together to load them into the truck. "Holy Shit!!" Erin suddenly yelled. AJ, Marcus, and Trisha all looked at her.
