***February 1st***
Tara walked around the huge venue that AJ and the rest of the guys would be performing in tonight. It was amazing she had never noticed how massive the stadiums were. "Hey chick! Where you headed to?" Krystal, the boys' opening act, shouted coming up behind her.
"Not too much, aren't you supposed to be at Sound Check right now?" she asked curiously.
"Nope, the guys are running through some of the dance steps with Fatima."
"Oh cool."
"So you having fun yet?"
"It's overwhelming in every sense, I can't believe how huge this place is and how big the stage is!! I just never realize how big everything is."
"I know, it's scary. This is the first time I have performed for such a large audience. And none of them know me."
"You will do great, trust me! I heard you practicing earlier, you have such a pretty voice!"
"Well from what AJ has said you aren't bad yourself. That boy just raves about you. Watch him when he says sister, he gets this little funky smile, it's soo cute but funny too!" she laughed.
"From what I know of him, he is a little weird, but nice. I think me and him will get along pretty good." Tara said grinning with excitement.
***Later***
AJ and the rest of the guys were backstage while Krystal started her set with "SuperGirl". "Hey Tara, I want to introduce you to the guys." AJ said walking toward her with the rest of the guys following. "Tara, This is Bria…"
"Well duh. I know Alex. I didn't live in a cave hon!" she laughed. "Nice to meet you Brian, Howie, Kevin, and Nick." She siad shaking each one's hand.
"Very nice to meet you too Tara!" Howie said winking at her. "AJ is constantly talking about his little sister!" he laughed.
"Yeah, now maybe we can get him to shut up!" Brian added jokingly.
"I wouldn't count on that one fellas." Nick chimed in.
"Nah, but we're all used to it. And Tara don't worry, soon enough you'll learn to block him out too." Kevin chuckled.
"Hey!! I resent that very much!! I'll have you know that MY little sister does not mind when I talk."
"hey let YOUR little sister speak for herself bubs!" Tara said sarcastically, nudging him lightly.
"Hey boys, come on, it's almost show time, Get together for your prayer and then you gotta get ready to go on." Tommy, the drummer announced. Soon Everyone was in a big circle.
"Tara come on. Just do what everyone else does." AJ whispered walking with her to the circle filled with the dancers, band and the boys with their guests.
"I'm FIRED UP, YOU FIRED UP?" A dancer in the center shouted quickly.
"YES!" The group responded with an enthusiastic shout.
"I'M FIRED UP, YOU FIRED UP?"
"YES!" was the response once again.
"I'm fired up you fired up?" still the same guy, but now almost chanting.
"Yes!"
"I'm fired up, you fired up?"
"Yes, yes, yes! Let's get a little bit rowdy! R-O-W-D-Y!" Was the final response before the crowd broke apart cheering and shouting amongst each other. Tara stood in awe. That one chant had managed to get everyone totally hyped about the concert, including herself.
"Hey Tara, you ok Kid?" AJ said looking at her with a worried expression.
"I am fine Mr. McLean." she laughed at his confused face.
"You sure??"
"Yes, I was just thinking...I know that kind of scares you but I do it a lot."
"Ok, well wish me luck sis! I'll see you after the show." he said as he hugged her.
"AJ!!!" a familier voice yelled from down the hall. Slowly AJ turned to see who was calling him and saw Shauna.
"Shauna! Hey baby!" he exclaimed running up to her and sweeping her up in a bear hug. "I missed you babes!" he said as he leaned down and kissed her.
"I missed you too. I am so glad I made it before the start of your show."
"Well are you staying with me tonight? Please say yes...." he said pleading with her.
"I'll see." she teased.
"Oh baby, I almost forgot...Come here." he said excitedly as he grabbed her hand and pulled her back towards Tara who was now talking to Nick. "Hey Tara! I want you to meet some one."
"Nice to meet you some one." Tara said sarcastically as she shook Shauna's hand.
"Tara this is Shauna, my one true love. And Shauna you know, this is Tara, my favoritest lil' sister."
"AJ, try only sister."
"Well that too."
"Come on J, we've got to go before the other guys kill us." Nick said walking towards the stage.
"Kae, well ladies, I have to go, and I will see you both after the show." AJ said hugging Tara, then kissing Shauna.
***Later***
"Hey Shauna, is it possible to go out and watch a little bit of the concert?"
"Sure! Maybe Krystal will come too. But just let me get us some passes from Troy."
"Wait, I want to come with you, since I'll be on tour for a while I want to get to know some of the people too."
"Ok, come on." she replied smiling. "Hey Troy, I would like you to meet AJ's little sister, Shauna."
"Um Shauna, AJ doesn't have a sister...remember?"
"I'm not going crazy Troy, this is AJ's half sister. Her name is Tara."
"Well nice to meet you Tara. And now what may I help you lovely ladies with tonight?"
"well Tara was hoping she and I and possibly Krystal could go watch some of the concert in the venue. Please?"
"Sure, just let me grab you some passes." he said as he pulled out 3 passes for 'special' guests.
***A Little Later***
"Oh my gosh, how did those girls get up there?" Angela asked Jealously.
"Well duh, that one girl is Shauna...The singer, you know AJ's famous girlfriend. And I don't know who the other girl is but she is probably one of the guys' girlfriends too. Don't get so bent." Cherish said reasoned.
"I'm so not getting bent, I would actually love to meet Shauna. I have an idea, let's stay a little after the show and go up to them...ok?"
"Sure, what's the worse that could happen?"
"So it's settled, we try to meet them after the concert."
***after the concert***
"There they go! Come on Cherish, let's follow." Angela whispered to her friend. They walked up to Shauna and Tara from behind. "Excuse me, Shauna, could I get your autograph?"
Shauna turned to see who was behind her and smiled. "Why of course sweetie. What would you like me to sign?"
"My picture of AJ please. Make it to Angel."
"Here ya go..." she said as she jotted down "To: Angela, Thanks for the support, by the way, love the web site. Your friend, Shauna L."
"Could we get some pictures?"
"Sure...Tara, you wouldn't mind taking them would you?"
"Of course not." she said taking the girls' camera and snapping a few pictures of the girls.
"OH MY GOSH It's SHAUNA!!!" a girl that was walking past screamed as she ran up to them. But a lot of other people heard her as well. There was a mob quickly forming around Tara and Shauna...The two were trapped.
"Ahh.......Help!!!" Shauna gasped sucking in air whenever she could. She felt in her heart that she was going to be trampled by the wild mob. Where was the security?? Where was Tara??
