Nottingham review - Jackie

Absolutlely amazing. These girls just get better and better the more they perform and you could tell they all loved being up there on stage doing their thing.
I think it was very fairly spread out, with each girl getting chance to speak and introduce various parts.
I actually did fall in love with Chez though. Ok yes, I've always liked her, but last night she was just so cute. The thing that did it was when she was talking and saying she won't go on for too long cos she'll cry and was generally thanking us for all our dedication. She also mentioned that she'd seen on the forum that ppl were making banners and thanking them for all the time and effort put into making them. And I think 2wards the end of this, she was sounding a bit emotional bless her. There was also a part when I think it was Kim had to tell her her dress was coming undone!
The main highlight though has got to be when Nadine blew me a kiss bless her wee cotton socks. Because I was sat (near the end of the catwalk) they came onto it for I'll stand by you. Nadine introduced it by first of all thanking the audience for their dedication and support over the years. Then as the others started singing, she looked straight at me and I just blew her a kiss. I wasn't expecting her to do the same back! She put 2 fingers to her lips, kissed them and then ppointed them at me, but in like slow motion. Then she gave me the cutest, sweetest smile I have ever seen in my life and kinda put her head to one side as she did it! Awwwww she was just so speshial! Some1 next to me said, "Did she just offer u a fag?" cos I guess to them, that's what it looked like. I just said to him "No, that's just how she blows kisses!" That moment will stay with me forever, cos I just never expected it to happen. I was expecting her to do nothing more than wave!
Kimberley... well what can I say? She was on fire 2nite. Lots of yummy tummy on display, plus an outfit that showed off the MFA perfectly. Rather big hair though. Mind you, that just made her look even foxier in my opinion. And the fact that she was glistening with sweat, well I'm not saying anything, I shall leave it to your imagination. When it was her turn to talk, she was on about how nervous they all were with it being the opening night in a big arena. It didn't show though.
All in all, a fantastic night. All 5 girls (and the dancers of course!) gave it 120% (if not more) You could tell that they had worked really hard and no wonder Nicola said "my toes are killing!" Mine were too and I was only dancing in the asiles so not doing the same dance as them. Mind u, that could be due to the fact that when I got home I found I had blisters under my feet. So yeah, that was the only down side to it.
