"Hmmm, Italy was so gorgeous." I mused, as I gave Sophia a soft kiss.  Our flight had just landed in Orlando, and we were on our way to Howie's house for a 'welcome home' party. 

"I know honey.  I wish we could've stayed a little while longer though.  I'm not ready to get back to reality."

"Same here, but our tour is starting up in one month, and rehearsals start in two weeks."

"Am I invited to come on tour with the oh-so-wonderful BSB?" she grinned.

"Of course you are.  I'm gonna need some lovin' on the tour bus, and in the hotel room, and just about everywhere else."  I laughed.

"I can't believe we're married." she mumbled, resting her head on my shoulder.

"You better believe it babe.  You're Sophia McLean… now and forever."

"I've never been happier sweetie."  I leaned in, and gave her a passionate kiss… the kind I know she likes. 

"Uhhh, Mr. McLean… we've arrived at Mr. Dorough's house." the nervous driver muttered.

"Oh, thank you." I replied, breaking away from my new wife.  I slipped him some money, and me and her walked up Howie's front-path, hand-in-hand.

Sophia's View

"Hola people!  We're back!" AJ shrieked, as we burst through the front door.

"Hey you two!  How was Italy?" Kevin asked, as everyone gathered around us.

"Oh, it was absolutely beautiful.  We had so much fun!" I gushed.

"Did you actually go sight-seeing, or was it all about your hotel room?" Nick snickered.

"Ha Ha, funny Nicky.  Yes, we went sight-seeing.  The food there is incredible." AJ replied, taking a seat, as I crawled into his lap.

"Can't you two be apart for more than 2 seconds?" Nick mumbled. 

"Nope.  C'mon, you know us Nick… we're inseparable." I giggled.

"Yeah, I remember." Colleen added.

"Hey AJ, where's all your luggage?"  Gwen piped in, her hand linked with Nick's.

"Oh the airport people are delivering the stuff to our house.  My mom stayed there to take care of our dogs, while we were in Italy." AJ replied, stroking the back of my neck.

"Okay guys… the pasta is ready, let's chow." Kevin shouted, placing all the food on the kitchen table.

"Oh, Kevin's cooking.  It must be good!" Nick laughed.

"Hey, my cooking is quite good Nickolas.  So shut up and eat." he snapped.

"Jeez, okay, okay.  Sorry dude."  Nick stuck out his lower lip, and took a seat between Gwen and Col. 

Once we were all seated, non-stop conversation filled the air.

Brian's View

Once dinner was taken care of, and the girls had finished doing the dishes, we were all seated in the living room. 

"I really think you guys should do an Eminem type song.  That would be the coolest." Col suggested.

"Colleen, you know that's not our sound." I replied.

"Yeah but… you would definitely get some more guy fans."

"Who needs guy fans?  We have girl fans, and that's about all we need." Nick added, as Gwen playfully smacked him.

"Well, personally, I think you guys should stick to the music you have now.  If you have all these fans now, it's not worth changing your sound… because then you risk losing all those fans that love your ballads." Elyse mumbled.

We all stared at her in shock.

"What?" she asked, nervously.

"That might have been the most intelligent thing I've ever heard you say." I grinned. 

We all burst out laughing.

"So B, are you saying I'm stupid?"

"No, but that just made so much sense."

"Oh I see.  Alright, you're off the hook for inadvertently calling me stupid."

"Thanks." I smiled.

"Oh my God!  Guys, I have the best idea on the face of this earth." Sophia shouted, happily.

"Oh no!" we all groaned.

"Hey!  I'm deeply offended.  So anyway… I say we play a good old game of 'Truth or Dare.'  What do ya'll say?"

After a few minutes of arguing, we agreed to play.  We all sat in a circle… well, somewhat of a circle.  I was in between Colleen and Nick.  This was gonna be interesting…

Colleen's View

I sat, waiting for the game to begin.  I wasn't looking forward to this…

"I don't wanna do this either Col." Brian whispered. 

"Oh me neither.  You think we can make a run for it?"

"Okay, I'm gonna start…" Sophia shouted, as everyone quieted down.

"Too late." he grinned.

"Alright, Kevin, truth or dare?"

"Uh, truth."

"Have you and Elyse had sex yet?" Sophia giggled.

Kevin glanced over at Elyse, who nodded.

"Yeah, we have." he finally answered, "My turn."

"Hey AJ, truth or dare?"

"You know me man, dare all the way!"

"I dare you to open up the front door and tell the world you're gay… and you better be loud enough."

"OH fine." he mumbled, walking to the door, and swinging it open.

"I'M GAY!  I LIKE MEN!  I ENJOY BEING GAY!" he screamed.  I glanced outside and noticed the bedroom lights turned on, in the house across the street.

"Oh shit, I've been caught." AJ muttered, laughing.

The room erupted in laughter as he took his seat.

"Alright, Howie, truth or dare?" AJ said, slyly.

"Definitely truth."

"Hmmm, are you in love with Gwen?"

"What?!  No, of course not!" Howie snapped.

I looked over towards Gwen, who was turning all shades of red. 

"Dude, calm down, it's just a game." Brian added.

"Yeah man, don't worry about it.  It's your turn now D." Nick grinned.

"Yeah, okay.  Nick… truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"If you say so Mr. Carter.  I dare you to french Colleen."

Nick's View

"W-what?" I stammered.

"You heard me.  I dare you to french Colleen.  20 seconds… get busy." Howie laughed.

I looked towards Col, who stared back at me.

"Gwen…" I mumbled.

"It's okay Nick, go ahead.  It's only a game."

Brian flashed me a dirty look, as he moved out of the way, leaving Col and me sitting next to each other.

"Are you okay with this Colleen?" I whispered.

"I think so.  It's only a game, no strings attached." she said, weakly.

"C'mon guys, we're waiting!" AJ snickered.  Sophia whispered something in his ear, and he immediately stopped laughing.  Guess she told him to cut his bull shit.

"Alright, here goes nothing." I mumbled, as I leaned into Colleen.  Our lips met, and my tongue traced the outline of her mouth, until she parted them, allowing me entrance.  Memories flooded my mind:  the day I dropped her off at her house, and forced her to kiss me… the day we had sex in the bathtub, the day I told her I wanted to be with her… all of this was swimming around in my mind.  But most importantly, the love I felt for her… was it back?

Colleen's View

"Okay guys, 20 seconds are up." Howie mumbled.  Nick and I slowly pulled apart.  His gorgeous blue eyes stared into mine. 

"So, Nick, how was it?" Kevin grinned.

"It was uncomfortable, because my girlfriend was watching me do it.  Kind of strange, if you ask me."

"Yeah sorry Gwen." I smiled.

"Nah, it's okay Col.  It was pretty funny to watch actually."

"Why's that?" Nick asked, pulling Gwen into his lap.

"Because I've never really watched people french… so it was just interesting."

"Oh…" Nick and I mumbled in unison.

"So Nick, it's your turn." Elyse added.

"Okay… Colleen, truth or dare?"

"I'm gonna go with truth."

"Okay, ummm… who was better in bed, me or Brian?"

I glared at Nick, and looked towards the floor.  I couldn't believe he just asked me that.  I was so humiliated. 

"Nick, you better stop this crap.  Don't make her answer that." Brian muttered angrily, putting his arms around me.  I buried my head in his shoulders, too embarrassed to look at anyone.  It's not like it was a secret from everyone… because they all knew, even Gwen… but I was so shocked that he had asked me that.

"I'm sorry Col, you don't have to answer that." Nick mumbled, giving me an apologetic look.

"It's okay, you just caught me off guard, that's all."

"Okay, lets move on.  Colleen, it's your turn." Sophia said, turning to me.

"Oh okay.  Elyse, truth or dare?"

"I'm always up for a dare, but tonight I'm gonna go with truth."

"That's my girl." Kevin chimed.

"Okay Elyse… since you missed our conversation last year, where was the weirdest place you've ever done it?"

"Ha, that's easy:  in my parent's bedroom."

The room burst into laughter.

"Oh my God, really?  When was that?" Kevin grinned.

"A few years ago.  My parents were away on vacation, and I was staying at their house.  Enough said." she replied, giggling.

"Okay Elyse, your turn now." Howie whispered.

"Brian, truth or dare."

"I'm gonna be the daredevil tonight." he grinned.

"Oh, Brian, a devil?  No!" Nick shrieked, laughing.

"Shut up Frack.  Anyway, what's my dare Elyse?"

"Well, I dare you to french… Col."

By this time, I was sick and tired of this game, and these questions.  I was gonna kill Elyse and Howie later on. 

"You're joking, right?" Brian stammered, with a nervous laugh.

"Sorry B, I'm dead serious.  C'mon it's only a 30 second french.  It doesn't mean anything because it's only a game."

"I need to talk to Col for a minute.  Hold up." he replied, grabbing my arm, and leading me into the kitchen.

"Do we do it, or not?  They can't force us you know." Brian whispered.

"Yeah I know, but if we don't… you know they're never gonna leave us alone.  Maybe we should just do it."

"Okay."

We walked back into the living room.  Everyone stared at Brian, expectantly.

"Yeah, we're gonna… so you can stop looking at me like that."

"Alright, 30 seconds… now get busy!" Elyse giggled.

For the second time tonight, I was gonna be kissed.  Brian slowly leaned towards me, and our lips joined.  As his tongue explored my mouth, memories slowly invaded my mind.  The night me and Brian had slept together… the way he had gotten so angry when he found out Nick had made a move on me… the sadness in his beautiful blue eyes that night he had found out that Nick and I had slept together… the way he's always there for me when I'm hurt… he meant the world to me, and I loved him… I love him as a friend, and more.  It's amazing what you can discover through a kiss.  I love Brian… I'm in love with Brian…

Brian's View

"Alright, time's up guys." AJ shouted. 

We pulled apart, and took our seats.  I love her so much… more than words could say.  I only wish she would feel the same way…

The room erupted in applause, and I could feel my cheeks getting hot.

"Guys, stop that." Colleen muttered, "It's no big deal!  It's just a game."

"I know, but you two looked so cute!" Sophia gushed.

"Cute?  We looked cute?" Colleen replied.

"Yep, you crazy kids are just so cute!" AJ shrieked, trying to mimic Sophia's voice… and he did a good job of it!

"AJ!" she giggled, playfully pushing him, "Don't make fun of me!"

"Sorry babe, it comes naturally to me."

Sophia was right:  me and Col were cute.  So how come we weren't together?
