THE DREAM OF A
CRYSTAL
Artwork : "Crystal of
Enchantment" by Josephine

I have been
wondering once what could a salt crystal dream of… And it has been enough to take one in
my hands, to understand from the salted sore of my hands that a salt crystal longs for a
drop of water to melt away in, mixing in an infinite wedding of white and transparency.
I have been wondering then what could an ice
crystal dream of. And it has been enough to take it in my hands, to understand, from the
deadly cold that froze my palms, that an ice salt longs only for the touch of the sun,
that it only desires a kiss of a ray, to infinitely love it till it melts away.
The salt crystal dreams of the water’s love.
The ice crystal dreams of the sun’s love. Every crystal, of every type, dreams of love.
What could a love crystal dream of?
