A WATER DROP

Artwork : "Bubble flower" by Josephine Wall

A water drop on a table in a winter night. I am watching it  wondering when and where from it might have been fallen down, since it wasn’t there a few seconds ago and however it seemed as being always there… so that I don’t really know if I’m watching it or it is watching me…
I have never carefully watched a water drop and that’s why only now I notice that it’s made of infinite mirrors; in one of them I see the winter outside… in another one, the violet shadow of a white flowers bunch… in another one the moon sewing with its rays a bride dress… and in another one I see myself, the bride waiting for her winter, dress and flower bunch…
But when I wanted to see myself dressed in the silver of the moon dress, I understood that the shadow of that useless bride was only the reflection of the vase with white flowers from the picture on the wall.
... because the drop full of mirrors was only a tear evaporating in the large silence of the winter… and I remained to watch, eyes in eyes, a white salt crystal.
