Project Statement
Organise
and co-ordinate the 2001 Explorer Camporee, a bilingual gathering of
four days in a fixed camp and respecting the traditional norms of
Explorer camps.
The
Troops or Patrols will live an enthusiastic adventure on a natural
site utilising their competencies and their traditional and modern technical resources combined
with great spirit.
This
Camporee will be jointly organised by the A.E.B.P and the A.Q.A.B.
2- Objective
Assemble
all the Explorers, Scouts, Woodsman and
Leaders of all associations principally, but not exclusively,
of traditional scouting, with the goal to favour to increase the
fraternal brotherhood spirit between Explorers and to promote
authentic traditional scouting. The Camporee helps each participant to
grow as an Explorer and as a member of a Patrol.

Scope
The
2001 Explorer Camporee will start on Friday May 18, 2001 and will
finish on Monday May
21,2001.
This
Camporee is restricted to the Explorer Branch
(12 to 17 years old) of all traditional scouting associations.
Commissioners of all ranks, leaders of all other branches and group
leaders are invited as visitors or participants.
The
2001 Explorer Camporee must make it that there is some time reserved
to Senior Timber Wolves so that they can see Explorers in action and
can also participate.

Norms
1.
The Camporee must finance itself.
2.
The cost per participant must not exceed $25.00
3.
The conception of the activities must, in priority,
take into consideration the needs of 12-17 year olds.
4.
The fundamental elements of scouting (therefore the
five goals) must be found throughout the different activities of the
Camporee. No activity in option.
5.
The specific elements of the Explorer method must be
respected (traditional techniques, Patrol leader’s Council, Court of
Honour, Inspection, and the Patrol).
6.
The Camporee must assure some visibility for the
branch and the associations.
7.
The Camporee must be the occasion of making a bank of
pictures and videos for the organisation of ulterior activities.
8.
All of the participating units must obtain a camp
permit from their respective associations.
9.
The Camporee must respect the camping Norms of A.E.B.P
or the A.Q.A.B.
10.
Any modification or derogation to the present charter must
receive the approbation by the Explorer Commissioner of the A.E.B.P or
Éclaireur Commissioner of the A.Q.A.B.
