True Love

True Love I have finally stumbled upon
A kind I thought I'd never cross
All the feelings I had for others is gone
And it really is no great loss

This new love will always be here
I love him quite like no other
Thoughts of losing him I'll never fear
Because he is my one and only lover

We met while walking a lonely road
Our eyes met and at once we knew
So our seed of love we gently sewed
An honest love that'll be forever true

He loves me more than words can say
My feelings I cannot easily express
Our love grows stronger each and every day
If we broke up we'd both be a mess

This love for each other we will always share
We will be together for very long time
For we know just how much we care
Because I am his and he is mine

Dreams Shared

We were walking silently along the shore
Of a far off exotic land
We were walking hand in hand
I have your love, why would I want more?

This love of ours will last forever
As long as the tide comes splashing in
Then the battle of waves we will win
This love will not fade, no not ever

Little sandcastles we walk bravely past
As we go we leave footprints behind
But this gentle sand will never mind
Because we are confident our love will last

I can see the stars shining in the sky
And how the moonlight dances on your hair
Only you know how much I care
When I see that loving twinkling in your eye

A warm breeze caresses us as we walk on
A gentle touch we will never forget
We stop and kiss as our feet get wet
And the sea sings us a lover's song

We continue to walk across the beach
Picking up seashells that we put to our ears
A quiet distant ocean that one barely hears
That only with our hearts will we ever reach

We now must leave this quiet place
And go back to where we first came
Leave that far off place that has no name
Home to share this dream we often chase

And forget about the past
Remember all the good times
So our memories will last

I love you more than you can imagine
I never want to wish you any harm
You know you have me to lean on
You can rest against my arm

Whenever you're in need
I will always be around
Of that I'm sure indeed

You never have to worry
You have a best friend in me
Eventually you will believe that
In time you will see

Right now you feel the pain
Of being all alone
Soon when everything's over
You can come on home

You know I'll be here waiting
For you to walk in that door
So I can comfort you
So you won't hurt anymore
