The Agogwe is a less-known cryptid from East Africa. It is known as a small downey, woolly-haired biped. Under its rust-colored fur, it has a yellowish-red skin.
Here are some reports:
±1900: Captain William Hichens, who was on an Official Lion Hunt, saw what he referred to as "2 small, brown, furry creatures"..."they were like little men, about 4 feet tall, walking upright, but clad in russet hairs".
1938: Cuthbert Burgoyne and his wife saw a similar creature from a Japanese cargo boat on the coast of Portugese Eastern Africa. 2 creatures of 4-5 feet tall are reported to have came out of a bush to feed along with a troop of baboons.
