Scientist are battling to tell that the biggests snakes on Earth are the South American Anacondas; but the record actually remains to an African snake that was estimated to 40 to 50 feet long. It was saw in 1959 by a Belgium helicopter pilot, Colonel Remy Van Lierde, patroling in the Congolese sky. It was dark-brown green, with a white belly. It's jaw was triangular; it was estimed to about 3 by 2 feet! This photo was analysed as authentic. When the helicopter flew lower, the animal raised it's upper body from 10 feet and looked as if he wanted to eat the helico if it come closer. This monstruous snake is bigger than every 20-30 feet Anacondas, so, the quest should be over...
