What the names Ucu, Ucumar and Ukumar-Zupia have in common? They all refer to a single cryptid, the South American equivelant of our North American Bigfoot. Sightings ocured in the Anden Mountain area.
What are the sightings? In May 1958, at Rengo, an Apeman was reported by campers. Rengo is 50 miles from Santiago, the capital of Chile.
Carlos Manuel Soto, one of them, gave that statement to the police:I saw an enormous man covered with hairs in the Cordilleras.
Another sighting occured in 1956 when the geologist Audio L. Pitch, while walking on the Argentinian side of the Andes, found 17-inches-long prints at a height of about 6000 feet.
