Gilbert's 3rd album released in September 1973
was different from the first 2. There was more
of a rock sound on this one. Much like Back To
Front released the previous year there were the
great ballads and the rockers but even the
ballads had more energy.
Again the voice was different from the previous
2 albums, it was really amazing to hear the
change within 2 years. Again i played the album
over and over again much like Back To Front. The
lyrics were
included but i was disappointed with the front
cover. Only a small picture of Gilbert on the
back cover and that was it.
So a pretty good album, new sound and still the
catchy lyrics except on Ooh Baby, i don't know
why that was the second single after Get Down,
maybe a ballad should have been
released.
