Besides the obviousness that it is a Naoko manga. The story is like this:: Cherry Project is Naoko's beautiful manga based on the life of a would-be skating champion, Asuka Chieri. Chieri comes from a home with a loving father who was once a skating champion himself. Chieri's dreams are on the way to becoming realized when she encounters her skating idol Masanori Tsuzuki, and he takes her in with the intentions of creating himself a new skating partner. Tsuzuki (along with his two friends Hiroshi and Kouichi, and Chieri's friend Yuni) helps Chieri realize her dreams of becoming a elegant and beautiful skater. Cherry Project is one of Naoko's earliest, yet beautiful and inspiring manga.
