Effect of pesticides on frogs genetics
PennState study

Two "normal" frogs and four deformed frogs with missing limbs and limb duplications.
A study by Penn State researchers, published in the July 9 issue of the Proceedings
of the National Academy of Sciences, reports that deformities in Pennsylvania wood frogs
are linked to the combination of their infection by parasites and a weakening
of their immune system by exposure to pesticides.
