Hewlett-Packard
HP 9835A Desktop Computer
This computer was given by Richard Hennick
---
That particular machine was bought new in about 1979 by Western
Canada
Hydraulic Laboratories Ltd., who were then located in Port
Coquitlam BC.
It was used for data reduction and various fluid dynamics
engineering calculations.
It was the first computer Richard Hennick ever worked with
or did any programming on.
WCHL went through a couple of changes of ownership, and was
eventually
bought by a partnership of two engineers and a senior technician.
It was that technician - Robert Draho - who inherited the
machine when it was no
longer used or needed, and he gave it to Richard Hennick
three or four years ago.
Richard gave it to the PCmuseum in Feb. 1998.
