The house near the docks is home to another trainer but he doesn't want to fight but trade. He ask you for a common Spearow for a Farfetch'd. I fyou don't have an extra Spearow it will be easy to capture another one so you trade.
Gone Fishing...For Magikarp
The house left to the Pokemon Center has a gift for you. It is called the Old Rod. But you can only catch Magikarps with it, so it may seem bad, unless you know what they evolve into...
Close but No Cut
It may seem impossible to get in the Vemilion Gym, but it's not. You have to have the CUT Ability which can only be found on the S.S. Anne. The CUT Ability can allow you to cut certain bushes which is very helpful.
Give This G.I a Jolt
Know that you have the CUT Ability you can cut down the bush and enter the Gym. Defeat three trainers and open two security doors. Face Lt. Surge to get the Thunderbadge and TM 24 which teaches electric Pokemon the ThunderBolt attack. If you want to defeat him fast use ground or rock type.
