This is the first update I make since about 5 or 6 month. I’ll resume what happened in the end of the season.
My brother went to the Quebec games and performed very well with a 4th place in the 666m. South-Shore region finished 4th in speed skating, with 2 medals (one bronze and one silver), all won by Louise-Marie Charbonnault (juvenile).
He also had a great performance at the provincial Championship, that took place in Victoriaville. He finished 8th on 16 and he made the level 1 standards. My parents won’t have to go to all level one and 2 competitions!!!
I finished the season in 3rd place of the “Coupe du Québec” (Quebec’s cup) and participated to Canadian Championship at Kitchener, Ontario. It begun not very well for me, with a 8th plce in the 777m, but after this, I won 3 medals: 1 silver (500m) and 2 bronze (666m and 1000m). I finished 4th in the overall. I also want to congratulate François Hamelin, from Ste-Julie, who won all his races and who’s the midget boys new Canadian champion!
Next year, I’ll begin the year in 6th place (junior) and my brother, in 12th place (midget).
Soon, I will go to Alma, to participate to the Quebec games in Track and Field. I’m going to run the 800m, 1200m and a relay.
