Radio 2
Series One 1989
Series Two 1991
The first of a clutch of recent programmes attempting to mine comedy from the ostensibly difficult ground of classical music, this series was hosted by the titular double-act, Michael Copley and Jeremy Sams, who played old tunes on new instruments and found new uses for old instruments (the violin, apparently, is ideal for propping up a collapsed table). Ian Moore replaced Sams in the second series.
