With a title flagrantly and rather confusingly borrowed from Birkenhead’s finest exponents of popular music, Half Man Half Biscuit, this was in fact another sketch-based outlet for Northern Ireland’s Hole in the Wall Gang, alias Michael McDowell, Tim McGarry, Nuala McKeever, Damon Quinn and Martin Read.  The show, relatively sharp by Radio 2 standards, was recorded live at the Contact Theatre, Belfast.
