Radio 3
A series of quarter-hour spoof discussion programmes on the literary arts, written by John Morton, the man behind the acclaimed People Like Us. Morton's trademark technique of allowing his characters' sense of their own eloquence to run away with them, creating hideous and hilarious linguistic snares, was much in evidence in these shows. The show was presented by John Sessions (surprisingly amusing as the depressive host, getting the level of under-playing more or less perfect), and featured Chris Langham, Sally Phillips and Rebecca Front.
