Radio 4
1998 (five episodes)
The second Radio 4 series from Christopher Fitz-Simon, author of the perennial period piece Ballylenon. This series, about the staff of a Dublin theatrical costumier’s business, was closer to conventional sitcom than Ballylenon, incorporating elements of farce as well as character comedy. The regular stars included Frank Kelly, Pauline McLynn (both of Channel 4’s acclaimed Father Ted) and David Kelly.
