(Station???)
1983 (six episodes)
This little-known series was a sort of spin-off from the long-running and hugely popular television comedy Dad’s Army (1968-77), which had itself been adapted for radio on occasion. It had a new writing team — Michael Knowles and Harold Snoad — as well as a new situation, but retained three of the original characters: three years after the close of the Second World War, Sergeant (now plain Arthur) Wilson, played by John le Mesurier, is to be found managing his own bank, in the company of witless youngster Pike (Ian Lavender) and belligerent ex-ARP Warden Hodges (Bill Pertwee).
