Chat and comedy from a woman’s perspective was the theme
of this show. Windbags was produced by Caroline Leddy and
presented by established stand-up stars Jo Brand and Donna McPhail, and
featured an all-female line-up of guests and comedians each week.
The two series straddled Radio 1’s change of policy on comedy formats,
so that Series One consisted of half-hour programmes, whereas the Series
Two shows were an hour long and interspersed with music.
